Q1: Why is the picture squashed into the top half of the screen, or why can't I scroll the picture?
A1: Your graphics card wasn't configured with VGACARD.When you are asked to make a selection, select the VGACARD program and follow the instructions on screen.
Q2: Directly after starting up, I find myself in DOS and see the message: ERROR: Resolution 101 (640x480) not supported by VGA card (return value 20225)
A2: You have not installed a VESA driver. Start the VESA driver disc supplied with your graphics card, or load univbe.exe (TM). You will find this driver on most Shareware CD's.
Q3: Why does the program suspend itself when I start up TEAM F1 with sound?
A3: The wrong IRQ or DMA channel has been specified for the soundcard during Setup. Start the 'SNDSETUP' program and select Autotest, or correct the settings.
Q4: When I start up, my computer displays the message: 'Insufficient memory to run this program '.
A4a: You are trying to start TEAM F1 from an interface such as DOSSHELL or NORTON COMMANDER. Start the game direct from the DOS-PROMPT with F1.BAT.
A4b: Add the line Shell=command.com /e:1024 /p to the Config.sys directory, then start your computer up again. If the parameter /e is already set, increase the value after /e: by 200 at a time.
Q5: Immediately after starting up I return to DOS and see the message DOS4/GW error (2533): not enough disk space for SwapMin...DOS4/GW fatal error (1011): VMM initialization error [1] 4 MB Playing .......... and so on.
A5: You don't have enough spare memory on your hard disk. Delete any programs you no longer need, so that you have at least 10 MB memory available.
