"SILENT THUNDER:A-10 Tank Killer 2" DEMO
**WIN95 ONLY**
**README**
This is a limited demo and as such, it does not contain all of the features and
gameplay elements which are available in the final product. If you wish to purchase
the actual game, you can do so by calling 1-800-757-7707 ($54.95).
DIRECTDRAW (fullscreen mode)
The demo will NOT run on your machine if you don't have a Win95 DirectDraw driver
(Ddraw.dll).
1. DirectDraw (full screen mode) is available to those who have already installed
the Win95 DirectX drivers onto your system. If you have not had Win95 DirectX
drivers installed onto your system, you will NOT be able to run this demo.
If you find yourself unable to run the demo because of this problem, here is what
you should do:
1. Find the file "Ddraw.dlx" which is located in the SILENT THUNDER demo folder.
2. Rename this file to "Ddraw.dll" (leave in the same folder where you found it).
3. Doubleclick on the green A-10 icon to start the demo.
Once you have renamed the "Ddraw.dlx" file to "Ddraw.dll", you should be able to play
the demo (in Windows mode only, NOT fullscreen).
*******DO NOT PUT THE RENAMED FILE in any folder other than the SILENT THUNDER demo
folder*************
GAME PLAY TIPS
This demo is a very limited look at one of the worlds from the game, SILENT THUNDER.
The demo is NOT an actual mission. It is simply designed to give you a small taste of
the final product. Be careful of enemies on the ground, watch out for SAM sites and
beware of the HIND that is heading your way....
1. Before you start playing make sure that you have calibrated your joystick within
Win95
2. If you don't have a joystick, you can still play the game with the arrow keys
and other keys on your keyboard.
3. Once you start the game, press enter to lose the dialog box.
4. For PREFERENCES, hit "SHIFT P". To use your joystick, select the joystick
preference box, click OK and have fun! Some of the preference buttons have been
deactivated in this demo only.
