  12. Installing "RetroVaders" for Windows
  13. ------------------------------------------------------
  14. Run SETUP.EXE on the install disk (e.g. by using program manager or windows explorer) 
  15. This program will install Retrovaders for you. 
  16. This program also installs the WinG (windows fast graphics) files (if necessary), 
  17. and the WAVEMIX.INI file to enable playing of multiple .WAV files simultaneously.

  20. Hardware Support and Requirements:
  21. ----------------------------------
  22. RetroVaders should run on a 386 or higher processor, running Windows 3.1 
  23. or Windows '95 or better with at least 1Mb memory.
  24.  
  25. The game is designed to work in 256 colours. It will still work if 
  26. your Windows environment is running in more or less colours, but might not look as nice. 
  27. See online help for more information.

  29. The game uses the WAVEMIX.INI file in your WINDOWS directory to determine 
  30. the capabilities of your sound card.
  31. If this file is missing or contains incorrect information, the soundcard option will not be available.
  32. To remedy this, install and/or correct your WAVEMIX.INI file.
  33. The SETUP proram that you used to install 'Retrovaders' installs this file,
  34. so if it is missing, you should run SETUP again.
  35. The PC-Speaker driver which enables playback of WAV files through the PC Speaker
  36. is not supported. If you are using this, the sound-card option will not be available.

  38. The game uses the WinG library which must be correctly installed.
  39. The SETUP program should install WinG, so if you have any problems you should
  40. run SETUP again.

  42. The game can use a joystick if available, as well as the keyboard.
