  11. Power Dolls requires lots of EMS to run.  You have to install it to your
  12. hard disk because it needs to be able to create a swap file in the
  13. directory it is run from, and so cannot run from a CD.
  14.  
  15. Type GO and press <Enter> from the \GAMES\DOLLDEMO directory to play the demo.
  16.  
  17. POWER DOLLS is a war simulation/strategy game. There are nine scenarios
  18. in the game. The DEMO contains only the first scenario.
  19.  
  20. The Demo...
  21. The SAVE GAME and LOAD GAME commands are disabled. Click on BEGIN GAME.
  22. Click your way through the introduction to begin your mission.
  23.  
  24. Learn all you can about the mission by from the MISSION DEBRIEFING SCREEN
  25. by clicking on PURPOSE, GOAL, ENEMY STRENGTH, and DETAIL PLAN.

  27. After you understand your mission, click on FORMATION. A new screen will
  28. appear. Select your Power Dolls here. Click on CHANGE WEAPON to equip your
  29. troops. Be sure to equip them with the correct type of weapons.
  30.  
  31. When you are ready, Click on BEGIN BATTLE to start the mission.
  32.  
  33. An overview map of the area appears. Your Air Wing will transport the Power
  34. Dolls to the drop zone. YOU CONTROL WHERE TO DROP your troops. A detailed
  35. map of your location will appear on the left side of your screen. The small
  36. overview map will be on the top right corner. An icon of the active unit
  37. appears on the lower right.
  38.  
  39. A "honey comb" grid appears on the screen. Click a comb to move your team
  40. to that location. You can also click on the small, overview map and move
  41. the mouse to preview what lies ahead. Click again and the screen will
  42. position itself on the new area.
  43.  
  44. Land your Power Dolls as close to the dam as possible. Approach the dam
  45. from the southeast. Click on the air transport when you are ready to land.
  46. Select SINGLE LAND to drop only one Power Doll or select MULTI LAND to drop
  47. them all near each other.
  48.  
  49. Only one Power Doll can be selected at a time. You can move, attack or set
  50. explosives. Approach the dam with caution. Locate the enemy before moving.
  51. Raise your shields before attacking. Continue fighting until your secondary
  52. force lands. You will now have the artillery support you need to success-
  53. fully complete your mission.
  54.  
  55. Be sure to set 3 explosives on the dam! Each explosive requires that you
  56. complete its 3-step setup in order to detonate. The three explosives will
  57. explode at the same time once the three are set for detonation. Good Luck!
