  1. If you have problems with Funball, here are some quick trouble-shooting tips:

  4. Problem: while starting up, right after displaying "Initializing sound
  5.   system...", the screen blanks with a message from EMM386, and the computer
  6.   hangs.

  8. Solution: run Funball with the /NOSOUND switch. Funball tried accessing the
  9.   DMA channel 1 to see if you have a sound card capable of playing digitized
  10.   sounds. The /NOSOUND switch prevents it from doing so.

  13. Problem: Funball gets stuck making the same move over and over again.

  15. Solution: the ball will automatically disappear after 30 moves, or you can 
  16.   interrupt the process yourself after at least 5 moves by holding down both 
  17.   Shift keys.
