  15. Description             : DANTE'S GATE is the first level in my INFERNO series
  16.               and is fully compatible with DOOM ][.  I've added
  17.               monsters, weapons, and other goodies along the way.
  18.               The level has an entirely different look and feel.
  19.               For the most part, the only "theme" I had in mind was
  20.               to make the level as aesthetically pleasing and 
  21.               consistent as possible.  But there is a storyline:
  22.  
  23.               After all this wackiness at the UAC base, you have
  24.               lost track of your lady-friend, BEATRICE.  How the
  25.               two of you ever got separated is no great mystery,
  26.               what with all these demons and devils running about, 
  27.               but you're damned if you're going to go through 
  28.               Hell for nothing.  The only other survivor besides
  29.               yourself and Beatrice is VIRGIL, the beatnik space
  30.               poet.  He last saw Beatrice by one of the warp-
  31.               gates.  Chances are she made it through -- but 
  32.               what's on the other side?

  34.               Only one way to find out.  You'll have to go 
  35.               through DANTE'S GATE.

  42. Instructions        : Put DANTE2.WAD and DANTE2.BAT in your DOOM directory,
  43.               then type "DANTE2."

  61.               "your" -- as in "you are" unless you're (see?) using
  62.               the possessive in your (uh huh) text descriptions;
  63.               "their" indicates possession, "there" indicates
  64.               place or direction.
