  14. -----------  HOW TO INSTALL! ----------------------------------------

  16. 1.  Create a new AutoWinNet directory
  17.  
  18. 2.  Unzip the PKZIP file into that directory
  19.  
  20. 3.  Create an icon for it, and setup the program by chosing CONFIGURATION
  21.  
  22. 4.  Unzip CTL3DV2.ZIP into your WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory.  This is vitally 
  23.     important: if you will get errors and ugly dialogs if you don't have 
  24.     that CTL3DV2.DLL in your windows/system directory. 
  25.  
  26. 5.  Dial and connect with your SLIP/PPP provider using a Winsock dialer
  27.     program, such as Trumpet Winsock's TCPMAN.EXE, or Internet in a Box's
  28.     AIRDIAL.EXE.
  29.  
  30.     If you don't have Trumpet Winsock, you can get a copy from 
  31.     ftp.trumpet.com.au in the /ftp/pub/winsock directory.
  32.     The usual filename is in the format: TWSCK??.ZIP

  36. If you are not dialed in, connected and logged in, this program will not work.

  41. -----------  HOW DO I RUN THIS AUTOMATED? ------------------------------

  43. To run an agenda without being home, (pro version only),
  44. specify the agenda you want to run on the command line.  OR just schedule
  45. several agendas to run using the new built-in calendar!
  46.  
  47. For example, add:  AUTOWNET.EXE MYAGENDA  to your scheduler program.
  48. This will run MYAGENDA agenda at whatever time you specify.
  49.  
  50. If you don't have a scheduler program, use AutoWinNet's new built-in calendar.
  51.  
  52.  
  53. If you're running Internet in a Box, your dialer will load automatically,
  54. and log you into the Internet.  
  55.  
  56. If you use Trumpet Winsock's TCPMAN.EXE, make sure that TCPMAN.EXE,
  57. LOGIN.CMD, TWINSOCK.INI and TRUMWSK.INI are in your Windows directory!
  58. Otherwise, he doesn't work.

  60. When AUTOWINnet is done, he will unload himself, along with the
  61. dialing program, and your Winsock.

  63. IMPORTANT NOTE:  Due to a bug in Trumpet Winsock, he doesn't hang
  64.                  up when exiting.  Be patient - he'll hang the modem up
  65.                  about five minutes after exiting!

  85. You already have a PARADOX engine setup inside WIN.INI.  Open notepad and
  86. edit WIN.INI, renaming any previous paradox statements.

  96. I KEEP GETTING "CTL3DV2.DLL NOT CORRECTLY INSTALLED" ERRORS

  98. Unzip CTL3DV2.ZIP into your WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory.  This is vitally 
  99. important: if you will get errors and ugly dialogs if you don't have 
  100. that CTL3DV2.DLL in your windows/system directory.
  101. DO NOT UNZIP IT INTO THE AUTOWINNET DIRECTORY!  Ctl3dv2.dll is very picky
  102. about where it should be.  Only one copy should exist on your hard drive:
