INSTALL
-------
INSTALL.EXE -rus - Run instalation on Russian Language.
Register
--------
For registration you have to:
- Get a registration keyfile(see README.ENG);
- Rename your keyfile into DN.KEY;
- Put it into the Programm directory;
- Restart the Dos Navigator. Registration information is written into the
programm files. You are able to remove DN.KEY to safe disk space.
Remember, that you'll need the keyfile to re-register a new versions or
new installations of the Dos Navigator;
- Restart the registered Dos Navigator again.
If you want to upgrade your DEMO registration just type "DN /REG"
Install on HPFS386
------------------
If you install the Dos Navigator on HPFS386-drive, you haven't to
remove the keyfile from the programm directory.
Also User directory and Programm directory must be different and
User directory don't must be a subdirectory of Programm directory.
Install on Novell Netware Server
--------------------------------
If you install the Dos Navigator on Netware-partition and after
successfull registation Dos Navigator works as non-registered, than
we advise to repeat registration procedure some times (3 times usually).
Install language file in User directory
---------------------------------------
It's needed to set 'Modify AUTOEXEC.BAT' option in Install procedure,
because the DNDLG-Variable must been set in your DOS Environment.
Delete swap file
----------------
Delete current swap file is non recomended, because the Dos Navigator
removes/creates it some time itself.
Input Hex-numbers
-----------------
To input HEX-numbers in Inputlines use char '$' before the numbers.
For example, 10h = $10 = 16.
It's possible to use standard format of Hex, Oct and Binary numbers
(XXXXh, XXXXo,XXXXb) in the Calculator.
CD-Player
---------
Sound Volume is don't controlled by CD Player.
Whitespaces in filenames
------------------------
The whitespaces in filenames and volume labels using is not recomended
because it's a limit of MS-DOS.
Long filenames
--------------
MS-DOS don't understand filename length more than 79 chars.
Direct disk access on HPFS
--------------------------
Direct disk access on HPFS is not supported in any disk operations.
