  21.   ControlPanel- software - uninstall AvirMail.

  27. How to install
  28. -----------------
  29. After you've downloaded the avirmail.zip file, copy it to 
  30. an empty directory, and unzip it. (You've already done it 
  31. if you can read this file..)
  32.  
  33. Double-click the setup.exe file, thatÆs it.
  34.  
  35. You may be asked to reboot the system if you have older 
  36. components for windows95/NT.
  37. Do not worry, click OK and the setup will install the new 
  38. components for you.
  39. You might then need to restart the installation. 
  40. (double-click setup.exe)

  42. How to Configure
  43. --------------------
  44. Program start: look for AvirMail in start menu and 
  45. double-click it. You will see a small  "v" icon in 
  46. system tray.(down on the right beside the system clock)
  47. Double-click it.(or, with right mouse click choose: "Show" )

  49. Configuration Tab set:

  51. POP3 SETTING:
  52. give your POP3 server address 
  53. (Usually  mail.yourprovider.com or pop.yourprovider.com 
  54. your ID name
  55. your password
  56.  
  57. DAIL-UP SETTING:
  58. Choose dial-up connection name you use normally.
  59. Telefon Nr.
  60. your ID name
  61. your password
  62.  
  63. TIME SETTING:
  64. You have the possibility, to mail check automatically 
  65. only when you are ANYWAY online, to do this, 
  66. activate the "But only when on line" option.

  68. Do not forget to save your settings!!!!!

  70.  TIPS

  72. - Double-Click on the "v" icon to Show/Hide program
  73. - a red icon means you are on line
  74. - Activate the "Auto run at computer start" option, so 
  75.   you'll never have to think about starting it.
