  20. * Taskbar icon support.
  21. * Improved reliability.
  22. * Restored sound quality.

  24. Not a whole ton new in version 2.1, this was intended mainly as a bug-fix version. It's hard
  25. to get rid of old bugs while introducing a lot of new code. That is why taskbar support is
  26. the only new "feature" added to this version.

  28. Bugs fixed in Version 2.1:

  30. * Hissing at the start of playback of first song loaded.
  31. * "Twauping" of low-frequency sound events. 
  32. * Playlist auto-mode selection.
  33. * Better identification of when digital effects are on or off.

  36. Development of version 2.2 was already underway before this release. I finally got my 
  37. testing and development cycles to overlap enough to allow for this. Keep a lookout for new
  38. developments within the next month.
