  4. DESCRIPTION :

  6. This program removes the following FAXmaker for Exchange components :
  7.  
  8. 1) FAXmaker FAX server and gateway services.
  9.  
  10. 2) One-off address templates. (from Configuration\Addressing\One-Off AddressTemplates )
  11.  
  12. 3) FAXmaker E-mail address generator (from Configuration\Addressing\E-Mail Address Generators )
  13.  
  14. 4) FAXmaker site address. (from Configuration\Site-Addressing)
  15.  
  16. 5) Administrator extension. (from Configuration\Add-Ins )
  17.  
  18. 6) FAXmaker gateway connnector. (from Configuration\Connections )
  19.  
  20. 7) FAXmaker message converters.

  23. RUNNING :
  24.  
  25. 1) If FAXmaker for Exchange has not yet been uninstalled (using unInstallShield) run the uninstaller from the
  26. programs group, unInstall Services option, or else you may run the application remove.exe directly from the FAXmaker
  27. directory.

  30. 2) If FAXMaker for Excahnge has already been uninstalled (using unInstallShield) then run the remove application with
  31. the nessesary command line parameters. In this case only the following is uninstalled :

  33. - One-off address templates. (from Configuration\Addressing\One-Off AddressTemplates )
  34. - FAXmaker E-mail address generator (from Configuration\Addressing\E-Mail Address Generators )
  35. - FAXmaker site address. (from Configuration\Site-Addressing)
  36. - Administrator extension. (from Configuration\Add-Ins )
  37. - FAXmaker message converters.

  39. The parameters are
  40.  
  41. /ORG=<Organization name> to specify the organization name
  42. /SERVER=<Server computer name> to specify the Server computer name
  43. /h to display the help information
  44.  
  45. Example : if the Oganization name is 'GFIORGNAME' with the site name 'FAX' and the server is called 'EXCHSERV' then the 
  46. command line must be entered as follows
  47.  
  48.     REMOVE /ORG=/o=GFIORGNAME/ou=FAX /SERVER=EXCHSERV
  49.  
  50. If the server name or organisation name contain spaces the name must be entered in quotes
  51.  
  52. ie.      REMOVE /ORG=/o="GFI ORG NAME"/ou=FAX /SERVER=EXCHSERV

  58. After running the uninstaller a file Debug.txt is created in the root of drive C. If problems are encountered please
  59. send this file with the nessasary information to GFI support team at ' support@gfifax.com'.
