  39. This shareware version contains all the features of a registered version.
  40. It has a 30 days evaluation restriction.

  42. 1. PageFocus Pro contains two programs:
  43.         PFPRO.EXE       Use this program to create and design
  44.                         drawings, forms, documents, catalogs, and
  45.                         database applications, etc.
  46.  
  47.         EXPO.EXE        This is the run-time program.  Use this to create
  48.                         database, or use it as a viewer for browsing
  49.                         PageFocus files.

  51. 2. The help files and a brief user guide, USEGUIDE.PF, which is a
  52.    PageFocus File, provide all the information you need to run the programs.
  53.    Another file, TIPS.PF, is useful for seeking frequently asked questions.

  55. 3. Minimum system requirements:
  56.    Windows 95, Windows NT (4.0)
  57.    The package require approximately 6M bytes of disk space.
  58.  
  59. 4. Depending on the screen mode that you are running (VGA, super-VGA or higher),
  60.    the button bar will be slightly different. However, this should not affect
  61.    the use of the programs because all the button commands are available
  62.    from the command menus.

  68.    PageFocus Pro is a copyrighted software.  This version is a shareware,
  69.    not a freeware.

  71. B. Evaluation period
  72.    The evaluation period is 30 days following your installation.
  73.    If you do not register after the evaluation period, you must
  74.    remove all the files related to the programs from your computer.
  75.    Any use of the package after the 30-day period without registering
  76.    with the Creative Stars is a violation of this use agreement.
  77.    PageFocus Pro will eventually quit working if a violation of the
  78.    use agreement occurs.

  80.    If you had used a previous version of PageFocus, or PageFocus Pro shareware
  81.    and it expired without registration, you must remove it entirely
  82.    before installing the new version.
  83.    If you want to be able to use the old files created by
  84.    any of the previous shareware versions, you will need a registered version.

  86.    If you have a registered version, then you can safely try out this new
  87.    shareware version.  However, we suggest that you install this version in a
  88.    new directory.

  90.    PageFocus series is backward compatible, which means that the
  91.    newer versions will read all the older files.  However, the older versions
  92.    may not be able to read the files created with the newer versions.

  95.    PageFocus uses your system time to cross-reference forms and databases.
  96.    We suggest that you maintain a consistent date and time for your system.
  97.    Time accuracy is not critical, but a correct system date is essential.

  137. To find the new features in this version, use EXPO to
  138. open the WHATSNEW.PF file which is located in the install directory.

  141. Install/Uninstall

  143. If you have an older registered version of previous PageFocus series,
  144. please install this shareware version into a new directory.
  145.  
  146. If you have an existing shareware version, you must remove it entirely
  147. before installing this new version.  The older PageFocus files can only be
  148. read by a registered version, but not with this shareware version.

  150. After unzipping the zip file, install the programs by running the
  151. setup program (SETUP.EXE).

  153. To uninstall, select the Add/Remove Programs icon from the Windows
  154. Control Panel and follow the instructions to remove the PageFocus Pro programs.
