Read Me First - TriVista 3D ImageCube
3D ImageCube is a Java program that runs on any PC
running Windows 95. A browser capable of running
VRML 2.0, or a standalone VRML 2.0 Viewer is required
to view the 3DImageCubes.
3D ImageCube is fun software designed to display a set of
images or digital photographs in a 3D environment. Like
a regular acrylic photocube, you can change the image
that's visible just by moving the cube. Unlike a
plastic photocube, 3D ImageCube can also be set to
rotate and randomly display the images you've placed
on its six sides.
The complete Shareware package will install the Java
Runtime Library, the program 3DImageCube.exe, and
supporting files into the following directories:
TriVista\bin
3DImageCube.exe plus supporting Java dll's.
TriVista\lib
Java library files
TriVista\ImageCube\class_files
Java .class files for 3DImageCube
TriVista\ImageCube\help
Help files for 3DImageCube
TriVista\ImageCube\example
7 sample images in jpeg format
If any of these directories are missing, the package
is not complete and may not perform as expected.
Please download the latest version on our Web site at
www.trivista.com.
Installation
To install 3DImageCube, copy the self-extracting exe file
onto your harddrive and run the self-extracting file
ICSetup.exe by double-clicking the file. The program
will self-extract and place all the files in the
TriVista folder and sub-folders described above.
To run the program, using the seven sample images
included, just select 3DImageCube from the TriVista
Folder in the Windows Start Menu. This will run
3DImageCube in which you'll step through a "wizard"
to build your VRML 3D ImageCube. Five clicks, and
you'll have the sample images ready to run.
To uninstall 3DImageCube carry out the following
procedure:
1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and
then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. On the Install/Uninstall tab, click 3DImageCube,
and then click Remove.
