  6. Read Me First - TriVista 3D ImageCube
  7.  
  8. 3D ImageCube is a Java program that runs on any PC
  9. running Windows 95. A browser capable of running 
  10. VRML 2.0, or a standalone VRML 2.0 Viewer is required
  11. to view the 3DImageCubes.  
  12.  
  13. 3D ImageCube is fun software designed to display a set of
  14. images or digital photographs in a 3D environment.  Like 
  15. a regular acrylic photocube, you can change the image 
  16. that's visible just by moving the cube.  Unlike a 
  17. plastic photocube, 3D ImageCube can also be set to 
  18. rotate and randomly display the images you've placed 
  19. on its six sides.

  21. The complete Shareware package will install the Java 
  22. Runtime Library, the program 3DImageCube.exe, and 
  23. supporting files into the following directories:

  26. TriVista\bin    
  27.     3DImageCube.exe plus supporting Java dll's.

  29.     Java library files
  30. TriVista\ImageCube\class_files
  31.     Java .class files for 3DImageCube

  35.     7 sample images in jpeg format

  38. If any of these directories are missing, the package 
  39. is not complete and may not perform as expected. 
  40. Please download the latest version on our Web site at
  41. www.trivista.com.

  43. Installation
  44.  
  45. To install 3DImageCube, copy the self-extracting exe file
  46. onto your harddrive and run the self-extracting file
  47. ICSetup.exe by double-clicking the file. The program 
  48. will self-extract and place all the files in the 
  49. TriVista folder and sub-folders described above.  
  50. To run the program, using the seven sample images 
  51. included, just select 3DImageCube from the TriVista 
  52. Folder in the Windows Start Menu. This will run 
  53. 3DImageCube in which you'll step through a "wizard" 
  54. to build your VRML 3D ImageCube.  Five clicks, and 
  55. you'll have the sample images ready to run.

  57. To uninstall 3DImageCube carry out the following 
  58. procedure:

  60. 1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and 
  61.    then click Control Panel.
  62. 2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  63. 3. On the Install/Uninstall tab, click 3DImageCube,
  64.    and then click Remove.
