  8. * Added fully configurable toolbar using the MS-Internet
  9.   Explorer style buttons (thanks to Fabrice Deville for
  10.   the TExplorerButton component). An option also lets you
  11.   use standard buttons if you prefer them.
  12. * Clipbook can now be docked on left or right side of the
  13.   document frame (32-bit version). See menu
  14.   View | Clipbook Properties.
  15. * Option to change the font of the Clipbook list box

  129.   status bar.

  132.   in a document and pressing the F7 key (or through the

  180.   to the list, make sure it ends with a backslash
  181.   "\" (otherwise it will be interpreted as a file
  182.   name). When you open a directory item, the File
  183.   Open dialog box is displayed pointing to the
  184.   selected directory.
  185. * The ruler adds a slightly longer tick mark every
  186.   fifth position when you use the inches or character
  187.   option.
  188. * Added a new template for HTML color codes.

  210. * Added a ruler with measurements in characters,
  211.   inches, and millimeters. Click on it to toggle
  212.   between the different units. When you place the
  213.   mouse cursor over the ruler, the measurement at
  214.   that position is indicated in the hint bar.

  216. * Enlarged some of the dialogs to improve appearence
  217.   on systems using large fonts.

  226. * Can be executed from a CD-Rom or a write-protected
  227.   disk. When executed from a CD-Rom, the editor's
  228.   configuration files are saved in the Windows
  229.   folder (directory).
  230. * Added the Spaces commands under the Edit menu. These
  231.   new commands will change each group of multiple 
  232.   blank spaces (from selected text of the whole
  233.   document) to a single space or tab character.

  242.   original copy. Problem fixed.
  243. * When printing several pages, page numbers, headers

  250. * The Line functions now treat a word-wrapped line

  252. * You can now save files in UNIX format (all carriage
  253.   return / line-feed pair are converted to LF). To

  256. * Documents now support multiple tab-stop settings
  257.   and units can be defined in inches, centimeters,
  258.   or pixels. Each value must be separated by a semi-
  259.   colon (;).
  260. * Clipbook now accepts date/time filters. Use ^[ and
  261.   ^] to delimit the filter element of the Clipbook
  262.   text.
  263. * Clipbook can now enclose selected text with content
  264.   of Clipbook item. The code ^& indicates where to
  265.   place the selected document text. Pasting a Clipbook
  266.   item with this code in the text will insert the
  267.   highlighted text at the position of the ^& code
  268.   instead of overwriting it. This is particularly
  269.   useful when producing HTML documents. For example,
  270.   if you have defined a Clipbook item under the title
  271.   Italic:   <I>^&</I>
  272.   Selecting a word in your document and then double-
  273.   clicking on the Italic item in the Clipbook will
  274.   surround the word with the italic tags:
  275.   <I>word</I>
  276. * On some systems, depending on screen resolution,
  277.   dialogs boxes may not display correctly (dialog
  278.   elements don't all fit in the window). If this
  279.   is the case on your system, add the following
  280.   line in the program's INI file under the [Options]
  281.   section: 
  282.                  ScaleDialogs=1
  283.   I have not tested this option yet, so I am not
  284.   absolutely sure the dialogs will display better.

  294.   displayed a GPF message and aborted the print

  301.   placed in the Find field. Before, the limit was

  312. * This update fixes the faulty search message that
  313.   was displayed in Super NoteTab version 2.0. You
  314.   can now also search backwards;
  315. * Several faults in the print procedure have been
  316.   fixed;
  317. * the Favorites dialog box now lets you edit the list
  318.   correctly;
  319. * a double-click on the Clipbook pastes an item in the
  320.   editor and leaves the focus in the document;
  321. * When the program was configured to use the registry,
  322.   invoking the browser would execute a new copy each
  323.   time instead of using the open copy. This has now
  324.   been fixed.

  328. * Mini Notepad has been renamed Mini NoteTab to better
  329.   indentify its link with Super NoteTab;
  330. * dialog boxes have been resized to accomodate displays
  331.   using large fonts;
  332. * the Document Selector now indicates the number of
  333.   open documents;
  334. * the tool bar now has a word wrap button;
  335. * the Find and replace dialogs now automatically
  336.   convert special characters in pasted text to their
  337.   respective search tokens. Dialogs can now be resized
  338.   horizontally;
  339. * more information has been added to the help file;
  340. * three new commands have been added under the
  341.   Edit|Lines menu:
  342.   - "Join Lines" converts multiple lines into a single
  343.     one;
  344.   - "Split Lines" converts a word wrapped line (or
  345.     lines larger than the editor window into multiple
  346.     lines.
  347.   - "Adjust Line Breaks" is useful for adjusting all
  348.     line breaks in the selected text or document to
  349.     true CR/LF sequences. The command changes any CR
  350.     characters not followed by a LF and any LF
  351.     characters not preceded by a CR into CR/LF pairs.
  352.     It also converts LF/CR pairs to CR/LF pairs. The
  353.     LF/CR pair is common in Unix text files.

  356. What's New in version 2.0?
  357. ==========================
  358.  
  359. Many features have been significantly improved and new
  360. ones added. The most original and useful is the
  361. Clipbook window (you'll find the command under the
  362. Tools menu). The editor is now web enabled, which
  363. means it can tell a browser to open a link or one
  364. of its documents. Printing works much better and a
  365. new dialog box lets you configure the size of margins,
  366. headers, footers, etc. A number of bugs that were
  367. discovered in the earlier versions have been fixed.

  369. You will find more details on these new features
  370. in the help file.

  372. As a result of the many changes made to the program,
  373. most settings that were saved by earlier versions
  374. are not restored by this new version. As a result,
  375. you will have to reset your program preferences and
  376. document properties.

  378. Another important change is that Favorite Files lists
  379. must now be stored in the same folder (directory) as
  380. the program and have the extension FVR.
