The Log Analysis database is designed to hold Results documents created by the Log Analysis tool in File - Tools - Server Administration.
Below is a quick outline of Log Analysis forms and folders/views. For more information, see the
Lotus Notes Release 4 Administrator's Guide.
Documents
Log Analysis contains one type of document: Results. You read but do not create Results documents. Use the Log Analysis tool in File - Tools - Server Administration to create Results documents. Log Analysis automatically creates new Log Analysis databases so you do not need to use File - Database - New.
Folders and ViewsJ
The results database contains one view, Log Events, categorized by server. It shows the date and time of events, their source (event or console message), and the text of messages. The view does not display times for server console messages.

About Log Analysis
Welcome to the Notes Log Analysis database. A log analysis database is designed to hold Results documents created by the Log Analysis tool in File - Tools - Server Administration. The Log Analysis tool creates a new database or appends to an existing one so you typically do not create this database with File - Database - New.
Choose Help - Using This Database for information on how to populate and use this database.
