  1. Thank you for trying BreeseFTP v1.02.
  2.  
  3. BreeseFTP is a freeware FTP client, and is freely distributable, we do however 
  4. request that we are notified before it is redistributed (except mirroring).
  5.  
  6. With so many FTP clients available, why write a new one?  Well, I got 
  7. lost in all the excess features that are never used, but I wanted a 
  8. windows interface that was simple, intuitive, and most importantly, 
  9. did everything I wanted...easily.
  10.  
  11. This is mainly a preview release, with more features and enhancements to
  12. be added soon.  If you find any bugs, or have ideas for future enhancement, 
  13. let us know.

  15. To install BreeseFTP, run setup.exe
  16.  
  17. You need the following Standard DLL's to use this program:

  19.     MFC42.DLL
  20.     WININET.DLL
  21.     Other Standard Windows DLL's may be required.

  25. How to Use Breese FTP
  26. =====================

  28. Enter the ftp site you wish to connect to in the combo box, and click "Connect".
  29. It only works on standard FTP ports.

  31. To change directories, double click the directory or directory alias in the 
  32. appropriate listbox.

  34. You can also change a directory by clicking "Change Dir" and entering the 
  35. directory you wish to go to.  You can make a directory the same way.

  37. Uploads and Downloads do not currently have a progress meter, but will change the 
  38. status bar when they are completed.
