<h2>Choose the type of your new account</h2>
<p>
<p>eM Client supports both IMAP and POP3 E-Mail accounts. You can read more about IMAP and POP3 <a href="../advanced%20information/protocols/e-mail%20protocols.htm">E-mail protocols</a>. </p>
</p>
<p>In the Account Wizard, you can choose to create one of four kinds of accounts:</p>
<p>Internet E-Mail</p>
<p><a href="#google">Google Gmail</a>
</p>
<p><a href="#caldav">CalDAV</a> (you can read about <a href="../advanced%20information/protocols/calendaring%20protocols.htm">Calendaring protocol</a> here)</p>
<p><a href="#im">Jabber</a> an instant messaging service</p>
<p>You can setup an E-Mail account in four easy steps. You don't need your password to setup the E-Mail account, however you will be prompted for it later, when you download your E-Mails for the first time.</p>
<h3><b>Step 1 - Display Name and E-Mail address.</b>
<p>Setting up a Google account is similar to setting up an Internet email account, but eM Client can set the incoming and outgoing servers automatically .</p>

<h2><a name="CalDAV"></a>CalDAV</h2>
<p> </p>
<p>CalDAV is a calendar sharing service. In order to setup a CalDAV account on eM Client, you first have to have a CalDAV account on your mail server (e.g. IceWarp eMail server). If you do not have a mail server that supports CalDAV, you can use a Gmail account which includes experimental CalDAV support.</p>

<p>Enter the account name and its Internet location, and you are done!</p>
