It allows you to disable the new categorized Control Panel Home, which provides categories and searching for tasks, and use the Windows 2000 style, referred to as the "classic view" Control Panel. The new Control Panel, referred to as the "category view" Control Panel, simplifies how users interact with settings by providing task links, and a search that lets users find the control they want by typing any keyword. The Control Panel allows the users to configure their computer, add or remove programs, and change settings.
If you enable this setting, Control Panel uses the classic view. The user cannot switch to the category view.
If you disable this setting, Control Panel is set to the category view. The user cannot switch to the classic view.
If you do not configure it, the default is category view, which the user can change.</string>
