  100. DISTRIBUTION RESTRICTIONS

  103. As the copyright holder, AIPNL authorizes distribution by individuals
  104. only in accordance with the following restrictions.

  106. The package is defined as the entire file either as 'self extracting
  107. executable' or an 'archive' as distributed by AIPNL. The authenticity
  108. of the package can be verified by contacting AIPNL, or by running the
  109. AIPNL UltraSafe program which verifies the digital signatures AIPNL
  110. ALWAYS adds to all its distributed software. If the package is changed
  111. in any way, distribution is forbidden. Please contact AIPNL to obtain a
  112. complete package suitable for distribution.

  114. You are hereby granted permission by AIPNL to copy the UC2 evaluation
  115. package for your own use or for others to evaluate, ONLY when the
  116. following conditions are met:

  118.    The package - including all related program files and documentation
  119.    files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must be distributed as a
  120.    complete unchanged package, without exception.
  121.  
  122.    Small supplements to the package, such as the introductory or
  123.    installation batch files, are acceptable. This should always be done
  124.    by supplying EXTRA files, never by altering the package (file) as
  125.    distributed by AIPNL.
  126.  
  127.    No price or other compensation may be charged for the package. A
  128.    distribution cost may be charged for the cost of the diskette,
  129.    shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk) does not
  130.    exceed US$ 15. In case ANY compensation is charged, the receiver
  131.    should be notified, in writing, of his obligations concerning the
  132.    Evaluation License.

  134.    If you include the package on a distributed CD-ROM, diskette,
  135.    magazine, book or any other item, you must give one such item for
  136.    free and without further obligations to AIPNL. This must be done
  137.    prior to other distribution of the item.

  139.    AIPNL prohibits the distribution of outdated versions of the
  140.    package, without written permission from AIPNL. If the version you
  141.    have obtained is over six (6) months old, please contact AIPNL to
  142.    ensure that you have the most current version.

  144.    The package CANNOT be sold as part of some other inclusive package,
  145.    nor can it be included in any commercial or non-commercial software
  146.    packaging offer, without a written agreement from AIPNL.
  147.  
  148.    The package, program(s) or documentation cannot be 'rented' or
  149.    'leased' to others.

  151.    If you wish to add any of our packages to a CD-ROM or other
  152.    collection, please check the release date of the version you have. If
  153.    the version is over six (6) months old then please contact AIPNL to
  154.    ensure that you have the most current version.

  156.    If you would like to distribute the package as a 'Disk-of-the-Month',
  157.    or as part of a book, subscription or monthly service, then you must
  158.    contact AIPNL in advance to ensure that you have the most current
  159.    version of the software. Only current versions may be shipped as
  160.    'Disk-of-the-Month' disks.

  162.    You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogues,
  163.    or other literature which describes our products as 'FREE SOFTWARE'.

  166. You are hereby granted permission by AIPNL to distribute executables
  167. which have been compressed by UCEXE, ONLY when the following conditions
  168. are met:

  170.    You must own (have bought) the full UC2 package (with disk and
  171.    manual) from AIPNL.

  173.    AIPNL shall not be liable for any damages arising out of your use of
  174.    this software, even if they have been advised of the possibility of
  175.    such damages.

  178.    any claims or lawsuits, including attorney's, that arise or result
  179.    from the use of files generated by UCEXE, or any modification
  180.    thereof.
