  24. TreeDraw is a specialist graphics editor for creating high quality
  25. genealogical drop-line charts.
  26.  
  27. Descendant and ancestral trees may be imported direct from Kith and Kin tree
  28. files or from PAF GEDCOM files created by other genealogy programs. TreeDraw
  29. converts these trees into easily edited picture elements which can then be
  30. re-formatted and re-arranged before storing and printing.

  32. It is now easy to produce perfectly laid out charts and incorporate pictures
  33. diagrams and other simple graphics. The charts may be as complex or as
  34. simple as you wish.

  36. By importing a combination of descendant and ancestral trees from one or
  37. more tree files, it is possible to build complex charts which can extend in
  38. any direction.

  40. TreeDraw maintains a link between each chart text element and the source
  41. field in the original tree file. This means that you can update each text
  42. element automatically to mirror any changes in the original file. The tree
  43. link for each text element can also be modified manually. This is a powerful
  44. feature which gives you control over the content and format of the text in
  45. the chart.

  47. Additional text elements may be entered manually to provide titles,
  48. headings, comments, etc.

  50. As well as text, you can place into the chart simple graphics (lines, boxes,
  51. circles) and OLE objects like pictures, clip-art, diagrams, etc.

  53. TreeDraw lets you control the size, shape, style, colour and alignment of
  54. all chart elements and supports colour printing.

  119. ------------
  120. This product is SHAREWARE. The version on this release disk is a fully
  121. functional evaluation copy which the user may install and use free of charge
  122. for 30 days. After that time, if the user wishes to continue use, a fixed
  123. registration fee of 20 Pounds Sterling is payable to us.
  124. Registration reminder screens are used in the program, increasing in
  125. severity when 30 days have passed.
  126. Upon registration the user becomes entitled to the registered version of the
  127. software, additional clip-art, telephone support and notification of upgrade
  128. releases. Registered users may upgrade to future versions at a discount.
  129. The registered version has been optimised by removing the registration
  130. reminder coding.

  137.   To run the application, copy all files from this release disk to a working
  138.   directory on your hard disk and run TREEDRAW.EXE.
