  1. ENVELOP is the tool, the Corps is cool.

  3. Envelop is the FREE, familiar object oriented RAD tool for Microsoft Windows '95 and NT.
  4. It is the only RAD tool specifically designed to help you participate in the exploding
  5. componentware marketplace as a provider as well as a consumer. Envelop's open architecture
  6. makes it easy to build objects using Basic, Windows DLLs, VBX controls, and OLE 2.0 servers.
  7. But most importantly, Envelop is the platform at the heart of the Enveloper Corps, a
  8. revolutionary new community of high-technologists developing technology and tools for their
  9. mutual benefit.

  11. The Enveloper Corps is an electronic community designed to bring together the collective
  12. genius of the Net. Organized around an electronic marketplace, its the place where you can
  13. make the most out of your coolest code and earn money and recognition at the same time. The
  14. Corps maintains and monitors technical forums as a way to constantly update and improve Envelop
  15. and the Corps. We are looking for Corps members who are interested in helping to shape Envelop's
  16. destiny. If you want to develop technology in an environment where you have maximum influence,

  19. The Enveloper Corps is a response to dissatisfaction with the way large software companies are
  20. developing, marketing, selling and servicing software. Currently, the world divides very sharply
  21. between component producers, who have the time, money and resources to market their components,
  22. and component users, most of whom would rather work with technology than market it. We think
  23. there is a much better way to do business, one that increases the connections between the 
  24. technologists who produce and consume components. We believe the best software is developed by
  25. individuals designing and building components for customers they can talk to directly.
