Centlim 0.91
An educational Windows program to teach and learn statistics and
probability.
It illustrates the central limit theorem, i. e. tha fact that
summing up independent random variables with equal distributions
produces a distribution looking very similar to the normal
(Gaussian) distribution.
The program allows the user to enter almost any discrete distribution
on the integers and graphically displays the probability
distributions for the sum of 2, 5, 10, and 30 independent variables
with the same distribution.
The user can choose between the display of a histogram and the
cumulative distribution function. The "best fitting" normal
distribution can be superimposed on the graphics display.
