  24. 1. Description of the software
  25.  
  26. CyberContact Light is a versatile Contact and Information Manager
  27. designed to meet your evolving needs as a user of the World Wide Web.   
  28. The powerful, easy-to-use features provide an interface to manage
  29. efficiently all your web related information, including: e-mail and
  30. web contacts, e-mail messages, activities, URL links, web pages,
  31. documents, files, and more.

  33. The basic unit of information in CyberContact is the contact record.
  34. Each contact record can represent a person, a company, a Web site,
  35. a project, or any combination thereof. To each contact record you
  36. can attach all the information associated with it, including: sent
  37. and received E-mail messages, URL links, documents, files, notes,
  38. tasks and activities, contact persons, HTML pages, and more.

  40. All that information is stored in a database on your hard drive,
  41. powered by a strong and fast database engine that allows you to
  42. perform smart browsing, searching and filtering tasks.

  44. CyberContact is a 32 Bit application designed to work under windows 95
  45. and NT operation systems. The program uses Win95 conventions and is
  46. intuitive and user friendly. In fact, if you are familiar with Windows 95
  47. you will probably know how to use most of the program's features without
  48. even reading the help file.

  51. 2. Requirements

  53.    A. CyberContact is a Win32 program requires Windows 95
  54.       or Windows NT.
  55.    b. Internet connection.
  56.    c. Browser (Netscape or Microsoft).

  59. 3. Installation
  60.  
  61. Select Run from the Taskbar Start menu, type the full name and path
  62. of the setup.exe file, press the Enter key, and follow the prompts.

  65. 4. Uninstalling the program
  66.  
  67. To uninstall the program use the Add/Remove Programs dialog box from win95
  68. control panel

  71. 5.Upgrading To CyberContact Pro
  72.  
  73. CyberContact comes in two versions, Light and Pro. The Light version has
  74. all the functionality of the Pro version except that it allows you to
  75. work with two databases with up to 100 contact records per database.
  76. This is quite sufficient for a light user of the web. 
  77.  
  78. However, if your needs grow, or if you are a power user of the net, you
  79. are invited to upgrade your CyberContact Light version into the Pro version.
  80. With CyberContact Pro you can open unlimited number of databases with
  81. unlimited records per database.

  83. The upgrade fee for a single user is $50. Upon receiving your order, we will
  84. e-mail you an Upgrade Code that will allow you to turn your CyberContact
  85. Light copy into a CyberContact Pro.

  88. 6. Vendor Information

  90. You are hereby licensed to make as many copies of CyberContact Light
  91. software as you wish provided you give exact copies of the original,
  92. and you distribute the software and documentation in its unmodified
  93. form via electronic or magnetic media. There is no charge for any of
  94. the above.

  96. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  97. donations, for any such copies made and distributed by electronic
  98. means.  You are licensed to charge a nominal fee, consisting of the
  99. cost of the media and postage only, for any such copies made and
  100. distributed by magnetic media.
