  1. Uninstall Instructions for Roxie's ABC Fish
  2. -------------------------------------------

  4. PLEASE NOTE:  If you are installing the registered version
  5. of "Roxie's ABC Fish" you do NOT need to uninstall the
  6. shareware version first.  The "Roxie's ABC Fish" install
  7. program will copy over your old files and program icons with
  8. new ones.
  9.  
  10. Uninstalling "Roxie's ABC Fish" from your hard drive is 
  11. simple.  There are two main steps: 1)  deleting the program 
  12. files from your hard drive and 2) deleting the program from
  13. the Start Menu Programs.    
  14.  
  15. However, you need to know first if "Roxie's ABC Fish" 
  16. is the only LatticeWork Software program installed.  To do
  17. this, in Windows, double-click on your LatticeWork Software
  18. icon.  If "Roxie's ABC Fish" is the only program item in
  19. LatticeWork Software, go to  A)  Uninstalling the program and
  20. the LatticeWork Software group.  If, however, you have other
  21. LatticeWork Software installed, and wish to uninstall only
  22. "Roxie's ABC Fish", go to  B) Uninstalling the program
  23. but not the LatticeWork Software group.

  26. A)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM AND THE LATTICEWORK SOFTWARE GROUP
  27.  
  28.     1.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
  29.             a.  From Windows, double-click on the "Main" group.
  30.                 Then double-click on "File Manager."  Find the
  31.                 directory where the LatticeWork Software directories
  32.                 exist.  If you used the default when installing the
  33.                 program, the directories will be in:
  34.                         c:\lattice
  35.                 (See "FINDING YOUR PROGRAM FILES" below if you have
  36.                 difficulty locating your program files.)
  37.             b.  Highlight the c:\lattice directory.  Do this by first
  38.                 clicking on the "C" near the top of the inner window
  39.                 of the File Manager.  Click once on "LATTICE."  You
  40.                 may need to scroll down the list of directories to do so.
  41.             c.  When "LATTICE" is highlighted, press the Delete key
  42.                 (or select File/Delete).  You will see a dialog boc
  43.                 asking if you wish to Delete C:\LATTICE?  Click on ok.
  44.                 Then you will see two more dialog boxes.  Click on
  45.                 "Yes to All" in response to both of those dialog boxes.
  46.         2.  Delete the program group and program icon
  47.             a.  From Windows, click just ONCE on the LatticeWork
  48.                 Software icon. You should see the LatticeWork Software
  49.                 icon, but you should not see the "Roxie's ABC
  50.                 Fish" icon.  If you see the "Roxie's ABC Fish"
  51.                 icon, close the group by pressing Ctrl-F4.  If
  52.                 you see a pop-up menu above the LatticeWork
  53.                 Software icon, click anywhere else on the screen
  54.                 to close the menu.
  55.             b.  When the LatticeWork Software icon is highlighted,
  56.                 press the Delete key (or select File/Delete).  You
  57.                 will be asked "Are you sure you want to delete the
  58.                 group "LatticeWork Software"?  Click on "Yes."
  59.     3.  Your uninstall is complete.

  62. B)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM BUT NOT THE LATTICEWORK SOFTWARE GROUP
  63.  
  64.     1.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
  65.             a.  From Windows, double-click on the "Main" group.
  66.                 Then double-click on "File Manager."  Find the
  67.                 directory where the "Roxie's ABC Fish" files
  68.                 exist.  If you used the default when installing the
  69.                 program, the directories will be in:
  70.                         C:\LATTICE\ABCFISH
  71.             b.  Highlight the C:\LATTICE\ABCFISH directory.  Do
  72.                 this by first clicking on the "C" near the top of
  73.                 the inner window of the File Manager.  You may need
  74.                 to scroll down the list of directories in the C:
  75.                 drive to do so.  Double-click on "LATTICE" to open
  76.                 that directory.  Then click once on "ABCFISH" to
  77.                 highlight it.
  78.             c.  When "ABCFISH" is highlighted, press the Delete key
  79.                 (or select File/Delete).  You will see a dialog box
  80.                 asking if you wish to Delete C:\LATTICE\ABCFISH?
  81.                 Click on OK.  Then you will see two more dialog
  82.                 boxes.  Click on "Yes to All" in response to both
  83.                 of those dialog boxes.
  84.         2.  Delete the program icon
  85.             a.  From Windows, double-click on the LatticeWork
  86.                 Software icon, to open it.  You should see the
  87.                 "Roxie's ABC Fish" icon.  Click once on the
  88.                 "Roxie's ABC Fish" icon to highlight it.
  89.             b.  When the "Roxie's ABC Fish" icon is highlighted,
  90.                 press the Delete key (or select File/Delete).  You
  91.                 will be asked "Are you sure you want to delete the
  92.                 item "Roxie's ABC Fish"?  Click on "Yes."
  93.     3.  Your uninstall is complete.

  96. FINDING YOUR PROGRAM FILES

  98. There is a quick way to determine where your program files are
  99. located on your hard drive.  In Windows, double-click on
  100. the LatticeWork Software group to open the group.  Then click
  101. just once on the "Roxie's ABC Fish" icon.  From the "File"
  102. menu select "Properties."  Under working directory you will see
  103. the directory where the program files are located.
