  9. Introduction *****************************************************************
  10.   Tiny LHA is a program to compress/decompress file from and to LZH format.
  11. When a file is drag & dropped from a Windows 3.1 file management program
  12. such as a File Manager, compressed files will be decompressed and regular
  13. files will be compressed into *.LZH format.

  15. Requirements *****************************************************************
  16.     Hardware:
  17.         80386 or higher machine
  18.         4MB or more RAM memory
  19.     Software:
  20.         MS-Windows3.1 or higher
  21.  
  22. Liability ********************************************************************
  23.   The author and the developer of this software will not take any 
  24. responsibilities for any damages that may occur with the use of this software.
  25.   The files contained in TINLHA.EXE file are distributed "as is" and without 
  26. any expressed and implied warranties.  The user assumes the entire risk of 
  27. using the software.

  30. Distinguishing Features ******************************************************
  31.   Tiny LHA has 5 distinguishing features:
  32.     1. Does not use too much memory.
  33.     2. Support Drag & Drop to compress and decompress files
  34.     3. Can compress/decompress entire files in a directory
  35.        with directory information. (New feature)
  36.     4. Support associate command in a File Manager (New feature)
  37.     5. Able to decompress self-extracting files (New Feature)

  39. Included Files ***************************************************************
  40.   The following files are included in the TINLHA.EXE file:
  41.     TINYLHA.EXE    Execution file
  42.     README.TXT    Introduction (the file you are reading right now)

  44. Installation *****************************************************************
  45.   Copy the LHA.DLL file to the \WINDOWS directory.
  46.   Execute the TINYLHA.EXE file from Windows by using either the File Manager
  47. or the Program Manager.
  48.   If you desire to have TinyLHA loaded every time Windows is started, add
  49. the TINYLHA.EXE to the Start-up group (^_^).

  51. Uninstallation ***************************************************************
  52.   Just delete the TINYLHA.EXE and this README.TXT files.  There are no other
  53. files such as the *.INI file associated with this program.
  54.  
  55. How to Use *******************************************************************
  56.   1. Compression
  57.     -Select files to compress into *.LZH format from a file management
  58.      software such as a File Manager.  It is possible to select
  59.      multiple files.  Files already with *.LZH extension will not be
  60.      compressed.
  61.     -Drag and drop the files onto the Tiny LHA icon.
  62.     -A dialog box will appear asking you to enter the compressed format
  63.      file names.
  64.     -Compressed files will be created in the same directory as the
  65.      original files.
  66. WARNINGS:
  67.     -If a directory is dropped, directory structure information will
  68.      be compressed, but empty directory will not be compressed.

  70.     -If several files are selected and dropped on to the Tiny LHA
  71.      icon, even files with LZH extension will be re-compressed.
  72.      Please decompress files one at a time.

  74.   2. Decompression
  75.     -Select a file with *.LZH extension to be decompressed from a 
  76.      file management software such as a File Manager.  The file must
  77.      be compressed in *.LZH format.
  78.     -Drag and drop the file onto the Tiny LHA icon.
  79.     -The file will be decompressed in the same directory as the
  80.      original compressed file.
  81. NOTES:
  82.     -If Tiny LHA program is associated with the LZH extension in the
  83.      File Manager, a *.LZH file can be decompressed by just double-
  84.      clicking the file.
  85. WARNINGS:
  86.     -If a *.LZH file contains directory information, subdirectories
  87.      will be created when it is decompressed.

  127. Miscellaneous ****************************************************************
  128.   If this type of memory resident accessory were written in VB or C++, it
  129. will become very large and slow. It is best if it is written in C (with some
  130. assembly).

  133. able to know that it is a LHA icon with just one look, but...
