This document is a legally binding agreement between you and INSO Corporation, the developer of the software program which you are about to license (the "Software"). By clicking in the space provided below you will have agreed to be bound by the terms set forth below. You understand that the Software will become inoperable following the trial period as specified in the trial information screen.
License Grant and Restrictions. INSO grants you and you accept a non-exclusive license to use the Software but you are not the owner. INSO is the exclusive owner of the Software. This license permits you to use one copy of the Software on a single computer for your personal use only for the trial period as specified in the trial information screen. You may not rent, lease, sublicense, assign or otherwise transfer use of the Software to others. Except to the extent applicable law does not permit such restrictions, you may not reverse engineer, reverse compile, disassemble or otherwise modify the Software in any way. You may not disable the portion of the Software that renders such Software inoperable after the expiration of the trial license period. You may not use the Software in any way after such trial period. You may not remove any proprietary notices that are provided with the Software. Neither the Software nor any underlying information or technology
may be exported or reexported into any country to which the United States has prohibited export.
No Warranties. You acknowledge that the Software has been provided to you free of charge for your personal use. You assume responsibility for the selection of the Software to achieve your intended results and for the proper installation, use and results obtained from use of the Software. INSO MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE OR THE RESULTS TO BE OBTAINED FROM ITS USE. INSO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR VIRUS-FREE. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT SUCH DISCLAIMERS, ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. INSO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY THAT ANY OTHER PRODUCT (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY COPY OF THE SOFTWARE YOU MAY SUBSEQUENTLY PURCHASE) WILL CONFORM TO THE SOFTWARE PROVIDED TO YOU UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL INSO BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, WHETHER OR NOT SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE AND EVEN IF INSO WAS ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE LIKELY OR POSSIBLE.
