  9. Welcome to the world of memory manipulation and DMC ver. 3.5!!!!

  11. Thank you for trying out our Dynamic Memory Control Product!! It
  12. has been under development for several years and is now available
  13. for everyone to try as shareware.
  14.  
  15. This program, by being shareware, is provided to you to try out.
  16. If, after the reasonable try out period you find it useful, then
  17. register it!!! There are quite a few benefits to registering, as
  18. outlined in the DMCHELP online help utility.
  19.  
  20. By the way, one more quick thing, if you are looking for a multi
  21. platform compression package check out our STASH, it is THE
  22. cross-platform compression package. Definitely not a competitor
  23. to any other PC compression package, it offers a range of other

  43. To INSTALL AND USE DMC 3.5.....
  44.  
  45.   1. Create a subdirectory on your hard drive (eg. C:\DMC)
  46.   2. Copy the distribution files from the floppy to the hard drive
  47.   3. Add the path to the DMC sub-directory to your autoexec.bat
  48.   3. You are ready to go!!!!! That's it!!!!!
  49.  
  50. ** Note: Go through the DMCHELP utility first, it provides the information
  51.          you need to use the product to its maximum potential.

  56. The following is our Software Licence Disclaimer, please read through!!

  58.  SOFTWARE LICENSE
  59.  
  60.  Adlersparre & Associates software is not and has never been public domain
  61.  software, nor is it free software. 
  62.  
  63.  Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use our
  64.  software on a 21-day trial basis for the purpose of determining
  65.  whether the software is suitable for their needs.  Any use
  66.  of our software, except for the initial 21-day trial, requires
  67.  registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of our software,
  68.  outside of the initial 21-day trial, by any person, business,
  69.  corporation, government agency or any other entity is
  70.  strictly prohibited.

  72.  A single user license permits a user to use one copy of the licensed
  73.  software product only on a single computer.
  74.  
  75.  No one may modify or patch any of our executable files in any way,
  76.  including but not limited to decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise
  77.  reverse engineering our software programs.

  79.  A limited license is granted to copy and distribute our shareware
  80.  software only for the trial use of others, subject to the above
  81.  limitations, and also the following:

  83.   1)    The software must be copied in unmodified form, complete
  84.         with the file containing this license information.

  86.   2)    The full machine-readable documentation must be included
  87.         with each copy.

  89.   3)    Our software may not be distributed in conjunction with
  90.         any other product with out a specific license to do so
  91.         from Adlersparre & Associates.

  93.   4)    Vending of our software products in retail stores (by
  94.         "shareware rack vendors") is specifically prohibited without
  95.         prior written authorization.  Written authorization will generally
  96.         require payment of a small royalty on each disk sold.

  98.   5)    No fee, charge, or other compensation may be requested or
  99.         accepted, except as authorized below:

  101.         A) Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (sysops)
  102.            may make our products available for downloading only as
  103.            long as the above conditions are met.  An overall or
  104.            time-dependent charge for the use of the bulletin board
  105.            system is permitted as long as there is not a specific
  106.            charge for the download of our software.

  108.         B) Mail-order vendors of shareware software approved by
  109.            the ASP may distribute our products, subject to the
  110.            above conditions, without specific permission.  Non-
  111.            approved vendors may distribute our products only after
  112.            obtaining written permission from Adlersparre & Associates.
  113.            Such permission is usually granted.  Please write for
  114.            details (enclose your catalogue).  Vendors may charge a
  115.            disk duplication and handling fee, which, when pro-rated
  116.            to each individual product, may not exceed eight dollars.

  119.   LIMITED WARRANTY

  121.   Adlersparre & Associates guarantees your satisfaction with this
  122.   product for a period of 90 days from the date of original
  123.   purchase.  If you are unsatisfied with the product
  124.   within that time period, return the package in saleable
  125.   condition to the place of purchase for a full refund.
  126.  
  127.   Adlersparre & Associates warrants that all disks provided are
  128.   free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming
  129.   normal use, for a period of 90 days from the date of
  130.   purchase.

  132.   Adlersparre & Associates warrants that the program will perform
  133.   in substantial compliance with the documentation supplied
  134.   with the software product.  If a significant defect in
  135.   the product is found, the purchaser may return the
  136.   product for a refund.  In no event will such a refund
  137.   exceed the purchase price of the product.

  139.   EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, ADLERSPARRE & ASSOCIATES DISCLAIMS ALL
  140.   WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT
  141.   LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
  142.   FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO THE
  143.   PRODUCT.  SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, THE
  144.   PURCHASER ASSUMES THE RISK OF PAYING THE ENTIRE COST OF
  145.   ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION AND ANY
  146.   INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  IN NO EVENT WILL
