DDClip (version 2.23)
New Features:
- Support midi under WindowsNT 4.0.
- Make logarithmic audio meter with automatic or user defined labels.
- Current time position can be changed at any track.
- Position of current time in work area not changed at zooming.
- Support MS Camcorder AVI-files. DDClip can convert non-editable
MSCamcorder AVI to standard MS-RLE AVI.
- User can disable showing of audio waveform.
- User defined colors.
- User defined project summary info.
- Enhanced clip properties in Clip Collection.
- Toolbar for Clip Collection.
- Unused clips have blue name color in Clip Collection.
- User can change frame rate (video folder of clip properties).
Miscellaneous changes:
- Restore track height at DDClip starting.

"Selection" folder.
- Close codec at DDClip project window minimizing.
Fixed Bugs:
- The bug with stopping playback.

DDClip (version 2.22)
New Features:
- Import of QuickTime (*.mov) and AIFF files.
For QuickTime, only the subset supported by ActiveMovie is implemented:
- cinepack video
- uncompressed audio
- Export of audio to AIFF format.
- Ability to open a project with references to missing sound files.
(This happens when you move the sound files referenced from
a project). You are prompted for a new path for the sound
file(s).
- Enhanced video scrubbing.
Miscellaneous changes:
- Double click onto a clip in the Clip Collection starts clip playback.
- Menu "Window" added.
- Updated help file.
Fixed Bugs:
- The bug with left clip edge dragging.
- Does open all projects from DDClip 2.20 (and earlier).
- Fixed "Open source file" dialog under WindowsNT 3.51.
- Current time marker does not jump back anymore (which
happened for some sound drivers).
- Can playback clips with different lengths of video and
audio parts.
- Uses original value for "quality" for AVI export.
DDClip (version 2.21)
New Features:
- Four most recent files are listed in the File menu (of both project
and clip collection), for quick open.
- Recording level indicator is always working; and it is now fast.
- In 'synchronize to playback' record mode, when the sample is recorded,
it is inserted into the place from which the recording was started.
- Open Clip (in Clip Collection) has "Add" button, allowing for
multiple clips opened at a time, thus saving the routine.
- Autosave was re-designed. Now it is "true" transparent autosave.
- Fine waveform picture. You can now view your waveform with
up to sample detail.
- Selected clips can now be moved with the keyboard. When the left
mouse button is hold, up/down arrows move the clips one track up
or down, and left/right arrows shift them one frame or millisecond
to the left or to the right. Pressing Shift/Control you can
increase the grain 10/100 times.
Miscellaneous changes:
- "Gravity Point" became "Alignment mark".
The marks can be moved and named.
- Wave and AVI files, if saved with errors, are removed.
The program thus no longer leaves erroneous files.
- Both strips of the level indicator are moving in mono mode.
- Next/Prev buttons now appear only when there are video tracks.
- Status line contains absolute and relative values
of volume/balance profile.
Fixed Bugs:
- Old temporary directory, that previous installer leaves when
killed, is now being removed by the next installation.
- No existing icon group is being deleted.
- The bug with missing video clips in the re-opened project
has been fixed.
- Projects longer than an hour do not crash the program anymore,
which used to be when the time scale was several milliseconds.
- Progress Bar does not overflow.
- Bug with moving a clip with "Edit Clip" was fixed.
- Midi was fixed - when tempo was changed, the saved project is
loaded correctly.
- External application launch is now more discreet - the file to
be processed is closed before the application is started.
DDClip (version 2.20)
New Features:
- Modeling of audio "scrubbing" (playing pieces of sound during
current time position dragging). Add group "Preview" (menu
Options|Settings|General) for setting "scrubbing" parameters.
- Enable to change solo/mute tracks during playback
(menu Options|Settings|General).
- Exclusive/non-exclusive "solo" (menu Options|Settings|Selection).
- Add commands for exchange tracks in track local menu.
- Undo/Redo commands restore settings for track volume,
solo/mute, track name.
- Selecting destination format during exporting of audio files.
- Automatically showing hidden tracks on clip opening.
- Add folder "Troubleshooting" (menu Options|Settings) to fight
with errors in some audio drivers and video codecs.
- Add mode "start/stop from cursor".
- Add saving waveform picture in .PRC-file (clip collection).
- Add progress bar for long procedures.
Miscellaneous changes:
- Increased accuracy of Buffer size (menu Options|Settings|Audio).
- Increased accuracy of volume indication and Check Overflow command.
- Function Normalize is improved.
- Waveform picture is greatly improved.
- Add "Always on top" and "Peak hold" checkboxes
(menu Options|Settings|Volume Indicator).
- Add "Hide indicator" checkbox in Faders (old name "Mixer").
- Add "Undo/Redo maximum number" (menu Options|Settings|General).
- Repeat Playback count increased to 1000000.
- Double click on numbers near-above "Scrip Size" button show
"View and Selection Range" dialog.
- Automatic project resize after Edit Clip dialog (if clip is
too big for current project size).
- Correct working with video clip, which starts from non key frame.
Add disabling clip starting position from non key frame
(menu Options|Settings|Video).
- Add periodical auto-saving project and clip collection.
Fixed Bugs:
- Crush at playing AVI-file (e.g. AVI with video codec Indeo 4.1).
- Problem with starting of multiple copies of DDClip.
