  1. Administrator documentation.
  2.  
  3. There are several ways how to install Avast32 on
  4. workstations:
  5.  
  6. 1) Manually. Administrator staff will install it on every
  7. machine manually.
  8. 2) Partial automatic. Administrator will prepare files
  9. and installation is run by users or by staff. Some
  10. information in installation is only acknowledged.
  11. 3) Automatic. Administrator will prepare files and the
  12. installation could be run by staff or by users without
  13. entering anything (silent installation).

  16. Preparing of files:
  17. These are the files which could be prepared (on first
  18. diskette or in directory disk1):
  19.  
  20. SETUP.INI - there is only EnableLangDlg here, which
  21. enables/disables language selection dialogue of the
  22. installation.
  23.  
  24. ADMIN.INI in language subdirectory. Change only settings
  25. you need.
  26.  
  27. AVAST32.CNF in language subdirectory. This file is
  28. prepared in Avast32, the configurations are stored here.
  29. Beware of absolute paths in this file.
