  64. A rescue diskette is prepared before disaster strikes, to
  65. enable you to reboot an unbootable hard disk and
  66. automatically recover the boot area.
  67. Here's how to make one:
  68.  ■ Format a floppy in drive A: with the command {FORMAT A: /S}
  69.  ■ The installer will copy vital AVAST! programs to this
  70.    disk and, using BGUARD, save critical information about
  71.    your hard disk.  Label this disk, write-protect it, and
  72.    put it in a safe place.

  77. Here is how to make more copies of the distribution disk:
  78.  ■ Prepare two formatted diskettes (min. 1.2 MB).
  79.  ■ Insert these disks into the drive you select.
  80.  ■ AVAST! files for {DOS} are placed on the {first} diskette,
  81.    AVAST! files for {Windows} are placed on the {second}.
