What Is Nester, The Product?.
Nester is specifically designed for converting CAD
drawings into G-Code files for use with any 2-D or 3-D.
Machine such as Laser Etchers, Flame cutting etc..
Nester can be used for creating individual complicated tool
paths for 2-D and 3-D machines. Custom INI files are used
to taylor Nester to your particular machine tool.
Several working examples are provided.
Nester is a low cost opportunity for small independent
machine shops to convert their drawings into useful
programs for their CNC and DNC equipment
without the hassle of figuring out the geometry manually.
Simply draw the outline of the part on a dedicated layer.
A full function editor is provided up to one million line capacity
to fine tune the file adding tool offsets etc.
Multiple files can be open at the same time to allow them to be
manipulated and Nested together.
Numerous other options such as flipping the part,
and scaling are provided.
'Swap' allows the direction of travel to be changed.
File transfer both in an out is supported so this system
can be hard wired to a machine tool via Rs232.
Graph line color red = cutting to blue not cutting.
Standard ascii format is used for all files.
Can be configured to support any axis combination.
The characters assosiated with a command
can be changed at will.
