README.TXT for Integrated Blocks and Layers (IBL) version 1.0
Overview:
Integrated Blocks and Layers (IBL) is an AutoCAD R14 Extension
that is designed to assist in managing blocks and layers. IBL
provides layer managing utilities that facilitate the grouping
of large amounts of layers. This allows you to quickly freeze
and thaw layers, both globally and in viewports. The block utility
is designed to allow the user to quickly select blocks from a well
designed graphical interface and insert them in an efficient manner.
The real strength of IBL is its ability to combine the layering
utilities with the block routines. This combination and integration
of tools allows for blocks to automatically be inserted on the correct
layer with almost any layering configuration.
Installation:
IBL can be installed by double-clicking on the SETUP.EXE program. An
installation program will guide you through the installation of the
IBL.ARX application, and install sample block and layer toolbars for
use with AutoCAD. Installation requires Windows 95, 98, or NT 4.0
IBL is a shareware application. This archive is a fully functional
application, which will operate for 30 days from the time of installation.
After this time, a valid serial number must be obtained from Integrated
Design Solutions, or IBL will fail to load into AutoCAD. Serial numbers
can be obtained via email, dsgnsolution@earthlink.net, or from the
IDS home page, http://home.earthlink.net/~dsgnsolution.
Distribution:
IBL may be freely distributed in its archived (.zip) form. Once a
valid serial number is obtained from Integrated Design Solutions (IDS),
the license may not be copied or transfered without permission from
IDS.
Question, comments and support should be directed to the authors at:
