- The SCSI adapter was not found at its
- default location. Setup needs to know
- the I/O address of the adapter to
- proceed with the installation. Setup
- can attempt to locate the adapter
- automatically by scanning. In certain
- rare cases some network cards will lock
- up the computer when this scan occurs.
-
- Because of this possibility you have the
- option of exiting setup instead.
-
- Options:
-
- <R>Yes<N> - Scan to locate the SCSI adapter
- and proceed with installation.
-
- <R>No<N> - do not scan for adapter and exit
- Setup. If you choose NO, you will have to
- determine the I/O port of the adapter
- yourself.
-
- <G>Suggestion<N> - Choose Yes. Setup
- typically finds the adapter without any
- problems and can then proceed with the
- installation. If your system does lock
- up, you may have a conflict with another
- card. The SCSI Adapter has a special
- "Port-Increment" switch that resolves
- these conflicts. Please consult your
- manual for further information.
