  1. The SCSI adapter was not found at its
  2. default location.  Setup needs to know
  3. the I/O address of the adapter to
  4. proceed with the installation.  Setup
  5. can attempt to locate the adapter
  6. automatically by scanning.  In certain
  7. rare cases some network cards will lock
  8. up the computer when this scan occurs.
  9.  
  10. Because of this possibility you have the
  11. option of exiting setup instead.
  12.  
  13. Options:
  14.  
  15. <R>Yes<N> - Scan to locate the SCSI adapter
  16. and proceed with installation.
  17.  
  18. <R>No<N> - do not scan for adapter and exit
  19. Setup.  If you choose NO, you will have to
  20. determine the I/O port of the adapter
  21. yourself.
  22.  
  23. <G>Suggestion<N> - Choose Yes.  Setup
  24. typically finds the adapter without any
  25. problems and can then proceed with the
  26. installation.  If your system does lock
  27. up, you may have a conflict with another
  28. card.  The SCSI Adapter has a special
  29. "Port-Increment" switch that resolves
  30. these conflicts.  Please consult your
  31. manual for further information.
