  11. Does your Pilot capitalize letters when you don't want it to?  Tired of 
  12. shifting up three times to turn off auto-capitalization?  Want caps-lock to 
  13. stay on as long as you want it to, even during editing?
  14.  
  15. ShiftHack gives control over shifting back to you.
  16.  
  17. ShiftHack is a HackMaster-compatible shareware module that eliminates 
  18. auto-capitalization, and maintains your chosen shift-state between 
  19. applications (including the built-in apps).  It's tightly-coded, efficient, 
  20. and compatible with all Pilots up to and including the PalmPilot 
  21. Professional.

  24. - What ShiftHack Does
  25.  
  26. Under normal circumstances, the Palm OS will watch your Graffiti input, and 
  27. change the shift-state to anticipate the capital at the beginning of a 
  28. sentence.  If you're like me, you find that this is more hindrance than 
  29. help, as you frequently wish to switch it off, which takes multiple shifts.  
  30. Also, if you're in caps-lock mode, auto-capitalization drops you out of it.

  32. ShiftHack eliminates this auto-capitalization, leaving you free to change 
  33. the shift-state as you please.

  36. - Requirements and Installation

  38. ShiftHack occupies less than 1K of your Pilot's RAM.

  40. ShiftHack is a HackMaster module, and as such requires DaggerWare's 
  41. excellent HackMaster system extender, available as shareware from 
  42. <http://www.daggerware.com>.  Please consult the DaggerWare's documentation 
  43. as regards HackMaster's installation and operation.

  45. After HackMaster is installed on your Pilot, use your Pilot Desktop software 
  46. to install shfthk11.prc, just as you would install any other Pilot program. 
  47. ShiftHack can then be enabled from HackMaster's main panel.  No 
  48. configuration is required.
