  26. PopUp Time is a HackMaster extension which displays current time, OS
  27. version, battery voltage, free memory and Internet Time without leaving
  28. current application.
  29. There is a setup where you can choose the key stroke to activate it (you'll
  30. certainly not choose the same stroke as for the other PopUp applications).
  31. You can also choose if you want PopUp Time to be dismissed automatically.
  32.  
  33. PopUp Time can be started automatically every time you turn on your Palm
  34. device. Backlight can also be started each time your Palm device is turned on.
  35. The time range when backlight will be automatically started can also be set.
  36.  
  37. If you want Internet time to be displayed correctly, you must set your time
  38. zone (GMT offset).

  51. After installing POPTIME.PRC, start "HackMaster" and  click on its checkbox
  52. to activate it. After that, PopUp Time can be started with the pen
  53. stroke which is set in the setup.

  55. Important note:

  57. Before updating or deleting any Hackmaster program, you must
  58. disable the application first in the "HackMaster" control screen.

  64. Setup options
  65. --------------
  66. Activating PopUp Favorites:
  67. - "Pen stroke" - the pen stroke which must be used to start PopUp
  68. Favorites. For example, if you choose from "Calc" to "Find", then you must put
  69. the pen on the "Calculator" button, drag it to the "Find" button, and then
  70. lift it.
  71. - "Single tap" and "Double tap" - PopUp Favorites can also be started with
  72. the single or double tap on the silk screen button.
  73. - "From" and "to" popup triggers - choose starting and ending buttons for
  74. the activationg pen stroke, or choose "From" button for a single or double
  75. tap activation.

  77. Known problem: If you are very fast with double-tap, it will not work
  78. correctly.
  79.  
  80. - "Auto OFF after" - check that option if you want PopUp Time to turn itself
  81. off after the specified number of seconds.
  82.  
  83. - "Auto ON" - check that option if you want to start PopUp Time each time
  84. you turn on your Palm device.

  86. - "Backlight ON" - check that option if you want the backlight to be turned
  87. on each time you turn on your Palm device.

  89. - "Backlight on from - to" - you can set the time range when backlight will
  90. be started (if "Backlight ON" checkbox is checked). You must enter numbers
  91. in the range from 0 to 23 hours.

  93. - "GMT Offset" - choose your local time to GMT offset (in hours).
  94.  
  95. - "DST" - check that box if Daylight Savings Time is active for your location.

  97. Usage
  98. -----
  99. If you tap on the "Tools" button, you'll get five options:
  100.         - "Copy time" - inserts current time at the cursor position
  101.           into the active field.
  102.         - "Copy date" - inserts current date at the cursor position
  103.           into the active field.
  104.         - "Copy date and time" - inserts current date and time at the 
  105.           cursor position into the active field.
  106.         - "Copy date from calendar" - displays calendar. If you choose a date,
  107.           it will be inserted at the cursor position into the active field.
  108.         - "View calendar" - displays calendar, but no further action will be
  109.           done after calendar is deactivated.
  110. If you didn't have active field before starting PopUp Time, all "Copy" actions
  111. will be done with the clipboard.

  113. Tap on the battery voltage to switch display mode to battery percentage bar,
  114. free memory (in Kb) or free memory percentage bar.
  115.  
  116. Tap on the selector (dotted box) in the upper right corner to change main
  117. display from Standard to Internet Time, or to display free RAM memory
  118. or free flash memory (free flash memory is prefixd with "F") in the
  119. upper right cormer. To view free flash memory, FlashPro must be installed,
  120. and "Enable API" FlasPro preferences option must be checked.

  123. To exit, tap on the "Exit" button, or use "Command" key stroke (something
  124. like "./", where dot is the starting point of the stroke), or tap anywhere
  125. outside or inside the PopUp Time window (but don't tap on buttons).

  145. After you obtain you registration name and number:
  146.   Start Hackmaster
  147.   Tap on the "+" icon in the PopUp Time row.
  148.   Enter required data and tap "OK" button
  149.  
  150. Your PopUp Time is now registered.
