  3. Limitations with non-english operating systems (french, german,
  4. italian, ...):
  5.  
  6.  Starting with version 1.41 PalmSaver uses a hidden batch-file to
  7.  execute ARJ or PKZIP. Therefore it will not work if the path to
  8.  your User-Directory contains "international" characters. This
  9.  limitation does not exist with WinRAR.
  10.  
  11. Limitations with ARJ < v2.70:
  12.  
  13.  ARJ v2.60 does not support folder-names with spaces in the requi-
  14.  red command-lines. Therefore you have to convert User- and Backup-
  15.  Directory strings with spaces to DOS-format manual.

  17.  Examples:
  18.   "C:\Program Files\Palm" must be changed to: "C:\Progra~1\Palm"
  19.   "C:\Apps\Palm Desktop" must be changed to: "C:\Apps\PalmDe~1"

  21. Limitations with WinRAR < v2.60:
  22.  
  23.  WinRAR v2.50 crashes while creating password-protected *.zip-ar-
  24.  chives. The crash occurs immediately after the archives have been
  25.  finished. The archives seem to be intact.
  26.  It is also not allowed to set a "Default folder for archives" un-
  27.  der "Options / Settings... / Compression" in WinRAR v2.50, because
  28.  this folder will be added to the path of your Backup-Directory and
  29.  this double-path cannot be found.

  31. Limitations with WinRAR v2.7x:
  32.  
  33.  WinRAR v2.7x doesn't store relative paths for *.zip-archives,
  34.  therefore it is impossible for PalmSaver to restore the complete
  35.  user-directory. The author (Eugene Roshal) will fix this error in
  36.  the next version (v2.80), but until then you should use WinRAR
  37.  v2.60 or PKZIP for *.zip-archives.
  38.
