  1. There are 3 reasons for me
  2. to write "No Security":

  4. - to be used:

  6. The "Security" program
  7. that comes with your Palm
  8. has the feature to remove
  9. a forgotten password and
  10. delete all your private
  11. records.
  12. It tells you that you can
  13. recover your records with
  14. a HotSync.
  15. It's much more convenient
  16. to install "No Security"
  17. (after you've forgotten
  18. your password) and delete
  19. the password without
  20. loosing any records.

  22. - as a demonstration:

  24. "No Security" shows how
  25. weak the security of your
  26. private records is.
  27. Everybody who has access to
  28. your Palm and can HotSync
  29. or install a program, has
  30. access to your private data.
  31. "No Security" calls one single
  32. documented system call to
  33. remove the password!

  40. into a form.
