  7. Database Utility is a simple application that lets a user beam databases from one Palm device to
  8. another device, delete any database for the device or set/clear the backup bit.

  11. + PalmOS 3.0

  13. Operation
  14. 1. Install the application like any other PalmOS application.
  15. 2. Launch it.
  16. 3. Select one or more databases.
  17. 4.     Tap on Backup Bit to Set/Clear the backup bit.
  18.     Tap Delete to delete the select databases. Items that can't be deleted have a 
  19.         trash can icon with an x in it.
  20.     Tap Beam to beam the selected databases.

  27. The software is defined as "Database Utility".

  29. Scott Gruby hereby grants you a license to use the software
  30. indefinitely on your computer without cost.

  32. You may not lease, rent, merge, reverse engineer, decompile,
  33. or disassemble the software.

  35. This license is effective until terminated. This license
  36. will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to
  37. comply with any provision of the license. You may also
  38. voluntarily terminate this license at any time. Upon
  39. termination, you agree to destroy or purge all copies of the
  40. software.

  42. The software is owned by Scott Gruby, and this license only
  43. permits you to use it. You are permitted to distribute the
  44. software by any electronic means; however, you may not
  45. distribute the software for a fee or via any non-electronic
  46. means without the express permission of Scott Gruby.

  48. If you are interested in distributing a copy of this product
  49. with another product or place the software on a compact disc
  50. or any other physical media, please contact Scott Gruby at

  53. In the event of a dispute pursuant to this agreement, the
  54. laws of the State of California in effect at the time of
  55. acceptance of the agreement shall be applied. Likewise, the
  56. state of California shall have exclusive jurisdiction for
  57. any dispute In the event of a dispute pursuant to this
  58. agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to
  59. reasonable attorney fees along with costs of suit.

  63. Scott Gruby hereby disclaims all warranties relating to the software,
  64. whether express or implied, including without
  65. limitation any implied warranties of merchantability or
  66. fitness for a particular purpose.  Scott Gruby will not be
  67. liable for any special, incidental, consequential, indirect
  68. or similar damages due to loss of data or any other reason,
  69. even if Scott Gruby or his agent has been advised of the
  70. possibility of such damages. In no event shall Scott Gruby
  71. be liable for any damages, regardless of the form of the
  72. claim. The person using the software bears all risk as to
  73. the quality and performance of the software.
