  10. This app benchmarks your Palm relative to other Palm models.  It measures
  11. CPU performance and bus bandwidth utilization.  Higher percentages = faster
  12. perfomance.

  14. Benchmark performs a CPU and memory-intensive Fibonacci calculation to test
  15. speed and bus bandwidth utilization.

  17. By using StreakHack, you can potentially speed up Palm IIIx and V devices by
  18. about 8% (and also reduce the display streaking on many IIIx devices).  The
  19. Palm Vx -- already 22% faster than the Palm V -- speeds up an additional 11%
  20. with StreakHack!

  22. Benchmark was written and compiled on-board a Palm Vx using Quartus Forth.
  23. It's a freeware demonstration of Quartus Forth' ability to produce compact,
  24. fast, stand-alone apps.
