SOCKMONSTERS LTD DEMO LICENSE

LICENSE FOR 'demoXox.prc' ('THE SOFTWARE')

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Sockmonsters Ltd licenses THE SOFTWARE to you only upon condition
that you accept all of the terms and conditions contained in this
license agreement. These terms and conditions are accepted by
installing THE SOFTWARE on a compatible device. If you do not
agree to these terms and conditions then you must not use THE
SOFTWARE and should delete all copies from your system. No
adjustment or alteration to these terms & conditions will be
accepted.

Whilst Sockmonsters Ltd endeavours to produce high quality,
reliable software you accept that no software can be free of
error, and use of THE SOFTWARE is entirely at your own risk.
Sockmonsters Ltd cannot be held responsible for any loss or
corruption of data or software, lost profits or other incidental,
indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse
of THE SOFTWARE.

'THE SOFTWARE' includes the main program identified above, any
attached documentation and all associated works of art, music,
text, animation, photographs and sound effects.

You acknowledge that you have read this agreement, understand it
and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. This agreement
is governed by the law of England and Wales.

DEMO SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

1) GRANT OF LICENSE
Sockmonsters Ltd grants you a nonexclusive and limited license to
use THE SOFTWARE, in object code form only, including associated
documentation provided by in connection therewith solely in
accordance with the terms and conditions of this License
Agreement. THE SOFTWARE is licensed, not sold, to you. You may
install and use THE SOFTWARE on any number of handhelds in the
United Kingdom and any other country to which THE SOFTWARE is
legally exported. THE SOFTWARE is "in use" on a handheld when it
is resident in memory or other storage medium accessible from the
handheld.

2) DISTRIBUTION
You may freely distribute THE SOFTWARE to third parties in its
original form. No right to distribute derivative works of THE
SOFTWARE is granted. Licensing or renting THE SOFTWARE or any
derivative work to third parties for a fee (whether direct or
indirect) is strictly prohibited. Each time you distribute THE
SOFTWARE the recipient automatically receives this license to use,
copy, and distribute THE SOFTWARE subject to these terms and
conditions.

3) MODIFICATION
Except as expressly permitted by this License Agreement, you
hereby acknowledge and agree that you will not modify, reverse
engineer, disassemble or decompile THE SOFTWARE or any portion
thereof or translate THE SOFTWARE object code in any way.
You will not attempt to circumvent any limitations or copy
protection in THE SOFTWARE.

4) TECHNICAL SUPPORT
The provision of technical support for THE SOFTWARE is entirely
at the discretion of Sockmonsters Ltd. If available, such support
will be provided only via e-mail unless otherwise determined by
Sockmonsters Ltd technical support. The technical support email is

5) COPYRIGHT
THE SOFTWARE is copyrighted by Sockmonsters Ltd and is protected
by English and international copyright laws. You may not copy THE
SOFTWARE except: (a) to provide a single backup copy on a desktop
computer; (b) as necessary for the execution of THE SOFTWARE. You
must reproduce and include all copyright notices, trademarks or
other proprietary legends of Sockmonsters Ltd in any copy of THE
SOFTWARE made by you. Any and all other copies of THE SOFTWARE
and/or the documentation made by you are in violation of this
License Agreement.

6) OWNERSHIP
You agree that Sockmonsters Ltd retains all right, title and
interest in and to THE SOFTWARE and all copies at all times,
regardless of the form or media in or on which the original or
other copies may subsequently exist. You agree that you neither
own nor hereby acquire any claim or right of ownership to THE
SOFTWARE or to any related patents, copyrights, trademarks or
other intellectual property. You agree to use your best efforts
to prevent and protect the contents of THE SOFTWARE from
unauthorised disclosure or use.  Sockmonsters Ltd reserve all
rights not expressly granted to you by this license.

7) TERM AND TERMINATION
This License Agreement is effective until terminated. Sockmonsters
 Ltd may terminate this License Agreement  if you fail to comply
with the terms and conditions. In such event, you must destroy all
copies of THE SOFTWARE. You may terminate this License Agreement
at any time by providing Sockmonsters Ltd with written notice,
provided that you have complied with the destruction policy
outlined below. This License Agreement will automatically
terminate if you fail to comply with its terms and conditions. You
agree that, upon any termination, you will destroy all copies of
THE SOFTWARE and certify to Sockmonsters Ltd, in writing, that all
copies and partial copies thereof have been completely destroyed
and are no longer being used.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

BECAUSE THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, THERE IS NO
WARRANTY FOR THE SOFTWARE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY
APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT
WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS OR GUARANTIES OF ANY KIND,
EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OR MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY
OR MERCHANTABLE QUALITY, TITLE, NONINFRINGEMENT OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOCKMONSTERS LTD DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE
OPERATION OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE.
THIS DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY CONSTITUTES AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THIS
LICENSE AGREEMENT. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS ARE UNAFFECTED.
