Single Number for palm 1.7 (2000/03/12)
by Y.Kanai
<Introduction>
Single Number is a puzzle game for one player, specifically, one who is
familiar with puzzle books or with the games found in the puzzle pages of
weekly magazines.
In this program, pilot shows puzzles which the player solves.
<Rules>
Numbers (1-9) are given in several cells in the 9x9 matrix. Decide the rest
according to the following restrictions: "Each number (1-9) should appear only
once in the 9 cells of each vertical line, horizontal line, and 3x3 matrix
surrounded by the thicker boundary."
<How to play>
There are two modes: user mode and book mode.
In user mode:
1. Select "New" from "Puzzle" menu.
2. Choose (1-9) number using push button below and fill the matrix.
(To correct the misinput, erase it using "clear" and input the right number.)
3. When all the cells are set with the correct numbers, the game is finished.
In book mode:
1. Puzzle will appear one after another.
2. Choose (1-9) number using push button below and fill the matrix.
(To correct the misinput, erase it using "clear" and input the right number.)
3. When all the cells are set with the correct numbers, the game is finished
and next puzzle appears.
4. If you finished the Book, you can try ....(secret)....!
<Options>
1. Player can play both in user mode and book mode.
In User mode,
2. Player can select 3 levels (beginner, intermediate, and expert).
3. Player can choose symmetry combinations in making puzzles.
