  1. UPDATES & UPDGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

  4. of ATP (Association of Tennis professionals)
  5. and WTA (WomenÆs tennis association) Tournaments:

  7. You can view your version of 3DTennis by clicking on
  8. Menu | About from the main screen.

  11. Oct. 10, 2000 - ver. 2.1.006
  12. Program update:
  13.      - COLOR, GRAY and BLACK&WHITE on PalmOS 3.0+ machines. 
  14.      - Separate black&white-only version 1.5 supports Palm OS 2.0+ devices or saves RAM
  15.      - smoother animation 
  16.      - dynamically allocates memory for full-screen 3D animation 
  17.      - added service animation, new color images of the players 
  18.      - improved messages in 2 players' game - 3D Tennis reverts the text
  19.      and the scoring device so the opposite player sees them correctly 
  20.      - you can adjust preferences even during the game, new options
  21.      (6 types of courts, you can change color scheme on the fly, 4 levels of difficulty) 
  22.      - Preferences panel moved from the Menu, new button "Prefs" on the main screen,
  23.      button "Play training" has been changed to be "Practice" 
  24.      - new 3D looking color buttons
  25.      - control over the game speed

  31. I. Upgrade instructions if you are using previous black&white version 1.4 or older:
  32. Do NOT delete the old 3DTennis.prc and PocketC.prc to preserve your registration status!
  33. Install 3DTennisCG.prc+PToolBox.prc+PocketC.prc
  34. Install Top20Men or Top20Women.pdb.
  35. Start 3DTennis. You will need to select 'Menu | Restore default model'
  36. for the new changes to take effect.

  38. II. Upgrade instructions is you are currently user of the beta version 2.0:
  39. Delete 3DTBitmaps.prc. Install 3DTennisCG.prc.
  40. Start PocketC application. Select 'Menu | Databases | Delete' 3DTennisView.
  41. Start 3DTennis. You will need to select Menu | Restore default model
  42. for the new changes to take effect.

  64.  - another real tennis rule is implemented: the service ball
  65. must hit the ground, before the Receiver returns it
  66.  - fixed "fault" bug, "shadow on the scoring device" bug
  67.  - The Registered version is able to generate 1000000's various
  68. computer models of tennis opponents,while the previous ver. has
  69. only 20 fixed models.
