Revision History:
-----------------
Version 2.2C 12/14/00
* Fixed a roundoff error that affected some entries (e.g. 4.20 miles rounded
to 4.19 miles)
* Fixed a bug which caused previously entered data to be entered into a new
entry under certain conditions.
* Fixed the average pace calculation for instances where some entries do not
have a mileage or duration entered.
Version 2.2B 9/21/00
* Fixed a bug which caused the "weight" and "calories" fields to not be exported.
* Changed the default calorie coefficient for Biking to improve that computation.
Version 2.2A 6/23/00
* Fixed a bug which was hiding the "Windy" choice on the New entry screen.
Version 2.2 6/21/00
* Added "Windy" to the environmental list on the log Entry/Edit screen.
* The log (all three modes) can now be listed in reverse order; sorted
with the most recent entries first on the list. On the Preferences
screen, choose "List newest entries first".
Version 2.1 5/25/00
* Added "All" to the activity list on the Summary screen.
* Added "Humid" to the environmental list on the Log Entry/Edit screen
* Changed the Register screen to give more information about the HotSync ID.
Version 2.0D 5/10/00
* Fixed the display of elapsed time for both the log and summary screens
- the value was being displayed incorrectly when the time exceeded about
9 hours.
* The Export To Memo feature now allows you to specify a "start date" to
qualify which records you wish to be exported.
* When a new entry is added to the log, the log screen automatically
scrolls down (once) to display the new entry.
Version 2.0C 5/9/00
* Fixed the calorie computation when using default weight. Computed
calories were 2.2 times too high in some cases. Default weight will
need to be re-entered on the preferences screen for users of previous
versions.
* The default caloric multiple for Biking was changed to .0073cal per kg
per minute.
* The log screen now scrolls up automatically when needed to show records.
Version 2.0B 5/8/00
* Fixed a bug with the Summary screen that showed the wrong activity
type when describing the most recent log entry.
* The New Entry screen will now default to km (instead of miles)
when the Preferences are set to display km by default on the summary
screen.
* Some cosmetic changes were made to some of the screens.
Version 2.0A 5/5/00
* Fixed a bug which caused the default weight-entry, to continuously
reset to 150lbs.
* Fixed a bug which caused the screen to get messy when running on
OS 3.5 devices.
* Optimized several areas of the code to decrease the size of the
program by almost 2Kb!
Version 2.0
* The Summary screen now has three modes for displaying statistics for a
variety of time periods:
(1) The current week, month, year, and total
(2) The previous four weeks
(3) The previous four months
* The Log screen now has been enhanced:
* The "brief" format display now shows 10 entries at a time (was 9)
* The "detailed" format has been replaced by two new formats:
(1) A two-line format (showing 5 entries at a time) which displays
date, distance, duration, location, and conditions
(2) A five-line format (showing 2 entries at a time) which displays
all the details of the entry, including heart rate, weight,
calories, and comments.
* The program can now record weight in either pounds or kg with each log
entry.
* The program can now compute calories burned for each log entry. Calories
can be computed using one of two equations, using time or distance combined
with body weight. Also, each activity type can be assigned it's own
equation for computing calories to more accurately reflect the type of
exercise being performed. ALSO, if you do not wish you enter body weight
for each log entry, you can set a "default" weight (in lbs or kg) which the
program will use to compute calories whenever you don't enter weight.
* The comment field for log entries has been increased from 31 to 70
characters.
* The number of memorized locations has been increased from 4 to 10. Also,
the program now automatically "promotes" more commonly used locations so
they stay at the top of the list.
* You can now "duplicate" a previous entry in the log when you repeat a common
workout.
* The average pace computation on the Summary screen has been fixed to throw
out entries for which there was no distance or time entered.
* The Export feature has been expanded to offer more data in the exported memo.
* The Summary screen now honors the system date format when describing the most
recent activity.
* The Summary screen now shows the activity type when describing the most
recent activity.
* The log entry/edit screen now supports common graffiti "Edit menu" commands,
including Cut/Copy/Paste/Undo/Select All/ and the on-screen Keyboard.
* The user's manual has been expanded, all new features are described there in
more detail.
Version 1.9
* The program now remembers the activity type of the most recently entered
activity, and defaults to that activity type for subsequent new entries.
* A bug which caused the average pace to be computed incorrectly when the
total run time exceeded about 9 hours has been fixed.
Version 1.8B
* Fixed a minor bug that caused some values (e.g. 4.2km) to be rounded
down by .01.
Version 1.8A
* Fixed a numeric display bug that caused distance to be displayed
incorrectly e.g. 6.05 would be displayed 6.5.
* Fixed a bug in the Summary screen which put some runs in the wrong
weekly totals.
* Fixed a bug that prevented the units for a log entry to be changed
to miles if they were originally entered as km.
Version 1.8
* The first day of your training week (used to compute weekly total) can
now be changed to Saturday, Sunday (the default), or Monday. This
option is on the Preferences screen.
* When the date is tapped on the Log Entry/Edit screen, the calendar goes
to the date that was set - not to today's date as it did previously.
Version 1.7b
* International number formats (comma decimal) are now supported properly.
Version 1.7a
* Bug fix for first log entry not being shown.
Version 1.7
* Added "Export to Memo" feature which allows the log entries to
be copied into a memo which can then be used to copy and paste
log data into other programs on your desktop machine.
* Fixed a bug which caused a program crash if the log was empty
and the user tapped the first line in the log.
Version 1.6
* Fixed a bug that prevented the activity pace settings to be
edited after they were set.
* The Summary screen now uses the preffered pace setting
(minutes/distance or distance/hour) when computing average pace.
Version 1.5
* A heart rate (in beats per minute) can now be recorded with each
log entry. From the Log Entry screen, tap "More...". The heart
rate can be selected from the overview log column selector.
* The Activity List is now user editable. See "Activity List"
option from the menu.
* The detailed log list now shows the activity type if it is not
"Run".
Version 1.4
* The Summary screen can now compute Average Distance, Average
Time, and Average Pace for each time period.
* Activity log now shows the number of entries in the presently
selected category in parenthesis at the top of the screen.
* Registration screen now displays the registration code if it
has already been entered.
* If the log preferences are set to display distance "as entered"
then pace is also displayed using the distance format (miles or
km) as entered.
Version 1.3
* Fixed a bug which caused entries to not be recorded when the
"All" category was selected prior to tapping "new". This
bug also manifested when editing a record when the "All"
category was selected prior to tapping the log entry.
* The device scroll buttons now perform a full "page up/down"
scroll when pressed. The on-screen up/down icons still scroll
a single line at a time.
Version 1.2
* A bug was fixed that had caused the log to incorrectly list
"duplicate" entries that were entered in different categories.
The databases created with prior versions are okay; it was
only the display routine that was faulty.
* A bug was fixed that forced the date to display as MM/DD/YY
when edited in the New/Edit Entry screen. The system date
format is now preserved properly.
* The location field in the New/Edit screen now auto-shifts to
capitalize the first letter.
Version 1.1
* The date on the new and edit entry screen is now displayed
using the system preferred date format.
* On the New Log Entry (and Edit Log Entry) screen, fields that
are "zero" are not filled in with a zero, so entering a value
does not entail first clearing them.
* When the log is set to display distances in km (preferences
screen), then speed (pace) is converted to minutes/km.
* Changed "Speed" to "Pace".
