  1. ParkingBuddy v1.4 Release Version (April 22, 2000).

  3. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION :
  4. - RELEASE VERSION v1.4 -
  5. You must use PocketC v3.61 or later, shareware or freeware version (Runtime
  6. version).
  7.  
  8. This program will calculate your Parking Bill.
  9. Every Parking Location have different payment method.  You can change
  10. parking rate parameter for each Parking Location.  Up to 24 different Parking
  11. Location can be created.  You can rename the Parking Location.
  12. Tap Parking Location to select Parking Location.
  13.  
  14. To do changes on parking rate parameter, you must unlock the lock first.
  15. Currency (up to max 3 characters) can be made different for each Parking
  16. Location, incase you must Park in another country that use different
  17. currency :).
  18. Tap on any underlined text to changes parking rate parameter.

  20. The preferences for payment methods :
  21.         - Prepaid ... hour(s)/minute(s) $...
  22.           Afterthat, @ ... hour(s)/minute(s) $...
  23.           (you pay when you enter parking area, and add the rest when you
  24.           exit parking area).

  26.         - Pay for first ... hour(s)/minute(s) $...
  27.           Afterthat, @ ... hour(s)/minute(s) $...
  28.           If under ... hour(s)/minute(s) $...
  29.           (you pay all parking bill when you exit parking area).

  31.         - Hours based payment.
  32.           00 - .. $...
  33.           .. - .. $...
  34.           .. - 24 $...
  35.           (you pay all parking bill when you exit parking area,
  36.           up to 12 items of hours based configuration can be made).

  38. You can enter price for Ticket lost too.

  40. Tap on happy face to change it to unhappy face, and you have a little
  41. remainder about the situation of the Parking Location.  For example, is
  42. the Guardman friendly, or the Parking Location is not too secure?  Look at
  43. the little face, happy face will remain you that the Guardman is nice and
  44. friendly :).

  46. Push PAGE DOWN twice to start counting the Parking Time.
  47. You can fill the Parking note to remain you about your parking car location.
  48. There is a clock at upper right screen.  So you can see the time without quit
  49. ParkingBuddy.
  50. Clock and Parking Time or Parking Bill will refresh everytime you turn ON
  51. your PalmPilot, or tap the screen.  It will also automatically refresh every
  52. 15 seconds.
  53. Sometimes you only have a time to start ParkingBuddy when your car is already
  54. park on Parking Lot.  The Parking Bill start counting when you pass park gate.
  55. So there will be a time different.  You can adjust your Park ENTER time by tap
  56. on ENTER time.  Every tap will decrease 3 minutes to ENTER time.
  57. You can see the Time Left before the Parking Bill increase (the Bar at upper
  58. the Parking Bill).  This Time Left Bar is usefull to let you prevent you pay
  59. only for 3-5 minutes.  SAVE YOUR MONEY....... :)

  61. The sound will remind you the time left.  1 beep will remind you about 30
  62. minutes left, 2 beeps will remind you 20 minutes left, and 3 beeps remind you
  63. there is only 10 minutes left.
  64. There are window remainder you about how many minutes left before you must
  65. some money.

  67. Tap on MENU to set preferences or view about window.

  69. ParkingBuddy is made for comfortable, so you can use 1 hand while driving to
  70. start count your Parking Time.  Of course, if the ParkingBuddy is already run
  71. on your PalmPilot, or when the car speed is not 100km/hour :).
  72. With a litle time to learn, you will be familiar with ParkingBuddy :).

  79. - At least PocketC v3.61 or PocketC RunTime v3.61 from Orbworks,

  81. - Palm devices or compatible with at least PalmOS v3.0.  Owner of palmOS v2.0
  82.   can try to run ParkingBuddy, but no waranty can run well.

  101. * Depends on what I need on ParkingBuddy and what your requests on

  105. ParkingBuddy is a SHAREWARE USD8 program.  If you like it and usefull for you, 
  106. please register it at http://www2.viaweb.com/pilotgearsw/diansuharto.html
  107. When you register, don't forget to give your pilot HotSync name (remember,
  108. Hotsync name is Case Sensitive, "Dian" and "dian" are different).
  109. After register, within 48hours you will receive Registration Code that only
  110. can be used on your Pilot with your given HotSync name.
  111. Without registration code, you still can use ParkingBuddy, there are no
  112. missing features, only nag screen to register when you start the program ;).
  113. After register, do not delete PocketC databases "PWDart5".  If you do
  114. delete it, you must entering your Registration Code again.
