  1. MySearch (Trial Version 1.0)

  4. MySearch is a Palm application that I developed using PDA Toolbox, it lets you keep track of your genealogy research.
  5. Each 'folder' of the application is entered by tapping on the folder tab. In the 'Person' folder you can enter the 'SurName' and 'Given Name' of the person, the 'Birth', 'Marriage', 'Death', 'Burial' dates and enter a note for each by tapping the 'Note' button. If you have a certificate for any of them check the box to the left of that item and if you have entered a 'Note' check the box to the right of the 'Note' button. Tap the 'Census' button to go to the census folder where you can hilite (tap) the census year you want to search and tap the box to the left of the census year to record that you have searched that year. There is an area in the bottom left corner to enter the states (and years) of the persons migration, tap the 'Return' button to go back to the person folder
  6. The 'Index' tab takes you to a folder that gives you a list of all of the names that you are researching.
  7. Help is available by tapping the 'i' in the upper right hand corner of a folder.
  8. Because this is a trial version the 'Birth', 'Death' and 'Burial' fields and their 'Note' folders are disabled and the 'Delete' button is disabled.
