  29. Installation
  30. ------------

  32. * Execute the Setup.exe program on your PC to install the conversion utility
  33.   (Please make sure to read the very important warnings related to importing
  34.   and exporting in the user's manual!)
  35.  
  36.   If you are running Windows NT, install the conversion utility in a
  37.   folder so that each level of the path name is at most 8 non-blank
  38.   characters. For example, do not use C:\PROGRAM FILES\MRCONVERT.
  39.   Instead, use something like C:\MYROOTS\CONVERT.
  40.  
  41.   If you are upgrading from a prior version of My Roots, go to the 
  42.   Start Menu and pick "Settings" and then "Control Panels".
  43.   Double-click on "Add/Remove Programs", select each copy of the
  44.   My Root Conversion Utility and then click on "Add/Remove". Once all
  45.   copies have been removed, re-install the conversion utility by
  46.   running the setup.exe. You might want to make a note of what you have the
  47.   "Palm User Folder" set to so that you can set it to the same directory
  48.   in the new version.

  51.   My Roots Conversion Utility.
