  20. Thank you for trying Holiday Planner for Palm computers.
  21.  
  22. Holiday Planner started out life as a simple annual leave tracker, due to
  23. requests from users I have expanded it to a full year planner.
  24.  
  25. I would be grateful for any bug reports, and also any features you think
  26. should be added. Of course, requests from registered users will take 
  27. preference :-) Please send e-mail to the address given at the top of this 
  28. document.

  30. Holiday Planner costs ú10 GBP to register, and you will receive your registered
  31. version by e-mail (and future upgrades).

  48. When you first run the program on your PalmPilot, it will build a database for 
  49. the current year and display the year as a grid.
  50.  
  51. Tapping on any grid square will set the cursor to that position (shown by a 
  52. dotted square) and display the date for that square at the top of the screen.
  53.  
  54. If you first select the Edit button, tapping on a square will mark that square as 
  55. used, first tap full day, second tap morning, third tap afternoon. Tapping the 
  56. square a fourth time will reset the square not used.
  57.  
  58. The drop down list in the top right of the screen controls the categories of
  59. planner, tapping on this will bring down a drop down list of categories which can
  60. be selected or amended in the normal way.

  62. Configuration Menu Options

  64.  Days Available
  65.  
  66.   By default the main screen will show the number of days marked in the current
  67.   category/year. If you set this field to a value between 1 & 99 the main screen
  68.   will show the number of days remaining.

  70.  Add To Datebook
  71.  
  72.   By default marked days are not added to your datebook, if you check this box
  73.   marked days for this category will be added as untimed events into your Datebook.

  75.  Start Month

  77.   By default the on screen year display runs from January to December, you can change
  78.   this by specifying a different start month.

  82.   Once enabled you can enter notes for any marked day, after selecting a day an icon 
  83.   will appear near the year display, pressing this icon will bring up an edit window 
  84.   allowing you to enter a note of up to 160 characters.

  88.   By default weekend days cannot be marked, you can allow weekends by checking 
  89.   this box. Note: This option is not available for the global category.

  91.  Show Category

  93.   By default the Global category will show through on to all other categories, you
  94.   can change this to another category with this option. Note: This option is not 
  95.   available for the global category.

  97.  NOTE: The configuration is separate for each category, so you can for example
  98.  have one category showing through to the datebook and one not.

  108.   Once enabled an icon  will appear near the year display, tapping this icon will

  125. The unregistered version of this program only allows entries for the current year.
