  11. FemDays is exclusively made for the female Palm user. 
  12. Check out our new version 1.4 - with Excel spreadsheet support!

  14. FemDays is a menstrual pocket calendar for the Palm system. 
  15. It features an easy-to-use interface which resembles the built-in Palm 
  16. calendar program. Two powerful graphic functions, statistical data, 
  17. password function and even Excel spreadsheet support are only the most 
  18. important of the many features FemDays offers you.

  20. FemDays allows you to store your most important observations, 
  21. e.g. bleeding, cramps and basal body temperature. Of course, you can 
  22. also save notes. 
  23. FemDays is very easy to use. If you want to enter some data for a 
  24. certain day simply tap on it. Check the necessary boxes according to 
  25. your observations and makes some notes as you like. To review or 
  26. change the entries for a certain day proceed as above.

  28. Your observations are symbolized by various icons:
  29. The thick bar symbolizes the amount of bleeding during your period. 
  30. Three stages are available: heavy, normal, light. 
  31. The triangle states an intermenstrual bleeding. 
  32. The lightning symbol stands for cramps. 
  33. The small ┤N┤ tells you that some notes are saved for this day. 
  34. The heart-shaped symbol (). You can use it as you like, e.g. to 
  35. symbolize sexual intercourse. 
  36. The filled bottom left corner in a day box. A basal body temperature 
  37. value has been entered for this day. Of course, you are free to choose 
  38. between Fahrenheit and centigrade temperature values. Simply tap on 
  39. the temperature unit in the day view.
  40. The day of your current cycle is shown in the bottom right corner.

  43. Password function:

  45. Due to the personal nature of your FemDays data there┤s a password 
  46. function included which (if used) safeguards the FemDays program from 
  47. others which have access to your Palm.
  48. The padlock symbol indicates that a password has been set.

  51. New in Version 1.4:

  53. Track your PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome). It is symbolized by a dotted 
  54. line on top of a day box.
  55. You can now restart the statistical calculations after pregnancy or 
  56. untracked cycles. Go to the month which the statistics should be based 
  57. on. Select "Reset Statistics" from the menu.

  60. Graphic functions:

  62. You can examine the progression of your cycles over a period of eight 
  63. months.
  64. You can have a close look at the progression of your basal body 
  65. temperature. Tapping on any point in the graph brings up an extra 
  66. window which tells you the exact date and temperature value of this 
  67. point. However the most important information of this window may be 
  68. the day of the respective cycle. This may help you to decide when 
  69. ovulation occurred and when to expect ovulation in future cycles. You 
  70. may use this as a guideline for you if you want to get pregnant.

  74. Please note that FemDays does in no way tell you when you might get 
  75. pregnant and when not. 
  76. You have to draw such a conclusion by yourself using FemDays as a help 
  77. only.

  82. Statistics:

  84. Of course, FemDays offers some statistical data about your cycle, such 
  85. as last cycle length and average cycle length. It also tells you the 
  86. last occurence of PMS, and when to expect your next period.

  89. Excel Sheet
  90.  
  91. If you have Microsoft Excel 97 or 2000, you can analyze your FemDays 1.4 
  92. data using this Excel spreadsheet.
  93. Simply open the spreadsheet in MS Excel and make sure to select "Activate Macros" 
  94. if the Virus warning pops up. This Excel spreadsheet contains VBA code that reads 
  95. and decrypts the FemDays database. It does not, of course, contain any viruses.
  96. The "Open FemDaysDB.pdb" dialog will pop up, asking you for the path to FemDaysDB.pdb. 
  97. Please locate the file FemDaysDB.pdb in your ...\palm\<username>\backup folder. 
  98. This file is automatically created during each HotSync if you have the option 
  99. "System:Handheld overwrites Desktop" selected (this is the standard value).

  101. Please note that if you are using a password for FemDays on your Palm you will be 
  102. asked to enter this password in MS Excel.

  104. The program will then convert all FemDays data into Excel columns which you can use 
  105. to print out or save in any format you like.
  106. Please note that only the latest version of FemDays and only MS Excel 97 and 
  107. MS Excel 2000 on Wintel platforms are supported.

  113. password function make FemDays your daily companion.

  126. limited only by the number of entries (30). If you like it and want 
  127. to use it regularly, please register. Registration fee is only $19

  130. Detailed registration instructions are also available when you tap on 
  131. the "Please register!" button visible in the unregistered version of 
  132. FemDays.

  142. This license agreement settles the relation between LinkeSOFT GmbH and the 
  143. user concerning the use of the enclosed software product ("program") of
  144. LinkeSOFT in its shareware version and its registered version.

  148. right to install and use this program on his PalmPilot.
  149. The program remains the sole property of LinkeSOFT.

  182. upgrades of this program.

  185. The user shall in no way make copies of the registered version of this
  186. program, except such as coming under º 1. The user shall in no way 
  187. resell or lend the registered program or copies thereof to third persons.

  192. invalid or if there is a gap in the Agreement, the validity of the other 
  193. provisions shall not be affected. In lieu of the invalid provision or in 
  194. order to complete the Agreement, a reasonable provision shall be 
  195. effective approaching to what parties would have agreed upon if they had 
  196. considered that issue.

  199. German law as it applies to German citizens and corporations and the 
  200. parties hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the 
  201. courts of Germany. The place of proceeding will be Berlin.
