Thank you for downloading AuctionPad. This application gives your Palm Computing Platform device useful tools which add to your online auction experience.
1. AuctionPad's main screen lists all of the auctions you are currently tracking, alongside live countdown timers. In an instant you can see which auctions are about to end. Additionally, you can set Date Book alarms to notify you before specific auctions close. You'll never forget to place a last-minute bid again!
2. If you are a frequent buyer of items on auction sites, AuctionPad will give you a single place to archive seller information. For example, if John Doe is selling you something, you can enter his shipping information, payment amount/type, as well as the date on which you sent the payment. AuctionPad has facilities to keep track of when the seller received your payment and when he sent your item (if your are notified of this information), as well as when you received the item. Wondering how long it's been since you sent a check for that coin collection? Just check its AuctionPad entry.
3. Similarly, if you are a frequent seller of items on auction sites, AuctionPad gives you a single place to keep track of buyer information. Wondering how long it's been since the buyer sent a check to you? What was their shipping address? AuctionPad gives you all of this information in one place.

INSTALLATION:
* Please consult the manual which came with your Palm Computing Platform(R) device for installation instructions. The file which needs to be installed is named "AuctionPad.prc" and is contained in the same folder as this "AuctionPadReadMe.txt" file.
* As with any application, it is always a good idea to backup your Palm device before installing AuctionPad. Consult your device's user manual for details.

SETTING UP AUCTION ENTRIES:
To create a new auction entry in the AuctionPad database, just tap the "New Auction" button. This will cause an edit dialog to appear. At this point you should enter as much information as you can about the auction, perhaps set a Date Book reminder, and tap OK. To add additional information about this record later, just tap on its entry on the main screen.
To delete an auction record, tap on its entry on the main screen, then tap the "Delete" button, followed by the "OK" button.
Note: AuctionPad does not interact with online services directly. Think of it as an offline notepad which you can use to keep track of such auctions.

COMPATIBILITY:
We have tested AuctionPad on Palm Computing Platform(R) devices which run Palm OS 2.0 or later. This includes the PalmPilot Personal, PalmPilot Professional, Palm III, Palm IIIe, Palm IIIe Special Edition, Palm IIIx, Palm V, Palm Vx, Palm VII, Handspring Visor series, Qualcomm pdQ, IBM WorkPad, and IBM WorkPad c3.

REGISTRATION:
You may use AuctionPad free for 20 days. At that point if you are satisfied and would like to keep using it, please pay the registration fee. Please visit http://www.digivello.com for complete instructions. You may choose from many forms of payment including credit card, personal check, or money order. You may order online or speak to a representitive over the telephone. After registering, you will be given a registration number. To enter this number, launch AuctionPad then tap Menu/Options/About AuctionPad/Register which will present you with a dialog box -- simply enter your name and the registration number. You are now a registered user and the application will no longer remind you to register. Keep your registration number filed in a safe place in case you ever need to reinstall AuctionPad or lose your Palm Computing(R) Platform device.
